How true is it that applications received on Aug 2013 and later are processed faster than those received before August?

I can see that trend at some offices in the east? Is it something CIC is doing or is a local office strategy?

As a matter of fact, it seems that its only the Aug 2013 applicants which are not getting processed at all.....

Anyone from Apr, May, June, July and even Sep and Oct 2013 applicants have claimed that they have received the test dates and what not and some already oath notices.....

Ask me, I am an August applicant :-\ :-\ :-\

i think it mostly depends on the local office. smaller offices (Mississauga, Windsor, Niagara to name a few) in Ontario seem to the fastest in processing. Also I believe adding the CBSA option in the application has sped up the process to some extent.

I am an October applicant and my office is Vancouver. We cannot know what is happening here. However, I see many of the October applicants in this forum are having their tests nowadays!
 
i think only true and applies to other local offices but not Vancouver.. ;D
