We are in the PGP Sponsorship group, medical completed 12 March, additional info sent and accepted, all police clearances sent in, have had all our documents acknowledged, but nothing further. Perhaps they are still working remotely - now that we are at level 2, hopeful that things may begin to move again!

We are all in the same ship. I am of the opinion that they are still working remotely as you have mentioned. Let us all keep our fingers crossed and wait for them. Anyone who hears from the Pretoria visa office recently should please update us.

We received a Pre-Arrival Letter on 20 August, from IRCC, inviting us to register with the pre-arrival services offered by IRCC. We have not heard any more, Does anyone know how long it then should take to get our CORP letter?
This is a good news. Although I dont how long it might take to get your COPR but I think it should not be too far.
Can you please provide us with your AOR and the stream?

I cant find the link to the spreadsheet, so its difficult to ascertain whether any other South Africans have got any further in the process
Ok. I am not aware of anyone who has gone through such process. Please members, if you know of anyone or you have gone through such, come on board and advise.

That will be a good idea. I am in support of such an idea. No one is sure of what is going on in that visa office. But, now that we are moving to lockdown level 1, may be things will change.

No Agaga. Things won't change that much. Look people with immediate family members in Canada don't face travel restriction and one amongst us get passport request as she can fly despite COvid 19 under spousal sponsorship. We are qsw and we are not exempt from travel restrictions. We will therefore only get PPR/COPR if we will be allowed to travel.
