same, my husband (lives in Johannesburg) applied August 1, 2022 for a visitor visa. I’m a Canadian citizen. Please let me know if any of you get updates . He has already done his medical and biometrics as we also applied for sponsorship, hoping things are faster. One can dream…

Visitor visa, from Johannesburg, and also says submitted. Applied on august 1st.
processing time should be 60 days according to their site.

Also applied for visitor visa, paid July 28th and Biometrics completed August 1st, enrolled August 2nd, all this done at VFS(Pretoria), applied online through GC Portal. Current status since biometric enrollment is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". Flight booked for the 21st of Sept but seems it may have to be moved, is there still a WhatsApp group so we could inform one another if there are any updates?

Well me i dd my biometric on 17th of June my file is in Pretoria but I dd my biometric in Dar es salaam but till now haven't heard from them again
