"Applications impacted by Coronavirus" on gcms notes

I ordered the gcms notes, under ORGANIZATIONS & ENTITIES, I found this:

I'm worried it means they won't process my application because of Covid-19. My application hasn't been touched since March.
Did anybody get the same thing?

COVID is causing this and yes they have not touched it or you would be in the system and get a application number.

Waiting and waiting is stressing.sp that’s why I stopped.i am a June 14 2019 application

This has come up in the GCMS notes thread.

Obviously this is speculation (albeit informed speculation), but this looks like a database "flag" or identifier to allow IRCC to search for files affected by covid. This could have multiple uses but the most obvious and simple one in the first instance is it would allow IRCC to compile reports and statistics on what happens with covid-affected applications i.e. report to minister or parliament or internally on processing delays and performance by separating them out from other files.

But the upshot for you is that there should be no reason to worry about it. On the surface it is a factual flag about your application, i.e. it has indeed been 'affected by covid.'

same here!
i ordered GCMS notes first in July and there was no such thing mentioned, but when I ordered in Aug again, Ifound the same!

I wouldn’t let it concern you, per @armoured post it seems it would just be used as an identifier for statistical purposes and besides I believe the OP got DM recently, so clearly no negative impact.
