I do not think that will take place as quick as you think it may take 4-6 month between the first and second responses of Buffalo office.
So keep your patient and wait until it come on
All my best

Hi all,

It's the first time I've seen this thread, wish I'd read this earlier. Anyway, I'm a graduate student and I am now on post-grad work permit and my timelines are as follows:

App received by Nova Scotia: Apr 15, 2009
AOR date from Nova Scotia: May 29, 2009
Full app received by Buffalo: June 4, 2009
AOR date from Buffalo: June 9, 2009
Initial assessment w/medical and RPRF request from Buffalo (interview waived and file not transferred): Apr 26, 2010
Medical done: May 29, 2010
Medical received in Ottawa: June 14, 2010

Praying and waiting for PPR very soon. I hope Buffalo does not slow down again.

Good luck to us all.

Thank you Balu.

Have you emailed them? I did around mid-April . They sent me a generic reply that my file was then in process but that they could not say when processing would be completed. When I inquired, my ecas still indicated "File received, etc.". Soon after, ecas changed to "In process."

All the best to you as well. Let's all update each other anyway we are all in that same boat.

hi , Jastar

Your timeline is almost same like me but your file was transferred another office months ago and why i didn't recieve any response from buffalo? or buffalo office might processing my file?

i thought of emailing them last week, but its been month and half i got my AOR from buffalo (23rd April).. so would like to wait till this month end and send them an email to check for sure.

because i saw jster and Mvik's files were transferred to other visa offices in 2months after they got their AOR from buffalo. but there are other folks whose status havent changed to inprocess yet...

anyways hoping for the best and waiting for the status to get changed to inprocess... god willing...

Hi, guys, I am not studying in Canada and my wife is holding open work permit, my timeline is showing below, My E -cas status is "Received by Visa Office" since March.

And i have the same thinking that will our application faster than others as we recides in Canada currently, and I am also under AEO, my category should be FSW2.

Hope getting good news soon.

Hi Parulkrish
Ya, our time line are prity much the same. Nothing to wory about the file transfer. Most probably buffalo visa office it self is handling your application. Its gone be a waiting period now.. so lets see what happens next..

I am a student and got AEO, living in Vancouver BC...so I am category 2.
My fulll doc was received by Buffalo 7th of June. I think 2 AOR time line is 2 week to 1 month.

BTW, how long is the the timeline between 2nd AOR from Buffalo and Medical request?
Have you seen any similar cases?
What about between Medical request and PPR?

If you have, please share them with me.

I thought AEO would speed up the process, (not only additional points) in Buffalo.

I am worreid that my 'soon-to-be' employer might be disappointed if it doesnt speed up anything.. and also waiting is painful. Most of all Vancouver is so expensive. :) I was going to get LMO and then last year most of the LMO cases were turned down by HRSDC , so I applied for AEO and have been studying and paying a lot....

I wanted to start a thread for people who have filed their application through NS >>> Buffalo. But who are residing in CANADA.
The reason I would like to look at CANADA separately. Just to identify if the proccessing times are faster if you apply through
CANADA.
Hi all,
there is another threat says or titled "APPLIED FOR NOVA SCOTIA" but the visitors of both these threats are little while they both have the same subject. I recommend if we can lump them together so we can get a lot of contributions.
Thanks
