In my e-cas, it says they started processing on Dec13, 2011... that was the date in my CAIPS when they calculated my points.
I requested for CAIPS end of November.

I was just wondering why they didn't send me anything yet though it already says in my CAIPS to notify me that I pass the selection and no need for interview : :

Anyways it really depends on the officer and I would say it is a case to case basis specially if they open your file during their bad days :-X


well I guess I will just make myself busy planning for some other things in my life like my holidays and stop worrying about this immigration procedure for awhile :-* :-*

It is still really good to know. Do you have any idea when was the last time they accessed your file? I have heard that is is every 3 months, which suggests that it has been early Dec?

All in all, I guess next time they issue meds.

I dont know if they called my previous or present employer, but it seems if the background check agency find something not legit in your application they would make a call.

My friend just got medical request and also a letter from a letter from Buffalo office to update his status(in case if anything has changed)

He just got married one month back, so he updated his martial-status and notified Buffalo office.

He just wanted to now whether he can apply PR for his wife right now or wait until he gets his PR?? He should be getting his PR may be in 3 months(hopefully).

If he applies PR for his wife now, will it delay his PR process??

Any ideas what to do ??

he shud inform about change in marital status and send in paperwork of spouse (educational, marriage certificate, fees etc )
yes it delays the PR process but forum is full of examples where people didnt add their spouse while getting PR, and later added. This resulted in revoking of their status.

I am preparing to send documentation to add my wife to my application which is currently at the Buffalo VO. I have a question and would really appreciate it if someone can answer it:

In the additional family information section: where it asks for address of father and mother, my wife does not have address for her father (her parents are divorced). Can I leave it blank or say unavailable or is there a particular way to deal with this issue?
