I knew in some countries DMPs ask applicants to carry photographs with negative but never saw that in Buffalo VOs directions or DMPs in Ontario never asked any of my friends!!

The logic is that is if we can proceed for the medicals without the form that is sent from VO, everyone will do it in advance.

They say that E-CAS updates on Tuesday evenings, but in practice, it can happen any day Mon - Sat

My spouse's medical forms are sent to me and I am planning to courier it. You can take mediclas anywhere in the world and all completed medicals are sent to OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA not to your visa office. So please not to worry about your husband's case and you can find doctors in CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2042&ProvID=15205&ProvinceName=Ontario&CountryName=Canada

Hi Entemaria,

Not quite so long ago, there was an applicant (don't remember the VO or name) who had done his Medicals WITHOUT any request from VO....just to be a step ahead in his processing time. Qorax had a post in similar vein wherein he mentioned that people can go ahead and do Meds by downloading forms but the "Landing" maybe early and maybe sometime tight on the time in such cases.

Maybe,courier would be a better choice in your case. Research work for me to find that post!!!!!

In my case, once it was on a saturday morning at 7.10 AM. (Eastern Time in Canada) Buffalo VO is in the limits of eastern time. I am sure VO was closed at that time.

Everything is strange!!!

Since there are several DMPs in India you may not find it hard to do it. Wishing you to be united with your whole family immediately. I know how much it is painful.

There are lot of people leading same situation.

It is interesting !!!. If I knew this I would have done my medicals early.

When Canada introduced fast track student visa processing for students from China and India, they introduced a scheme that students can file their medicals along with application. I think it is called SPSS. I always thought why don't they introduce to immigration so that processing ti me will be less. Especially for people like me, I have done my medicals before entering in Canada. I work in Canada and pay tax. I have upgraded all my credentials and equivated with Canadian education. I also studied in Canada.

Please update me if you can research and find it.
