mine is 56 days from the dt.of 2nd AOR and more than 2 months for RBVO but no further process so far.....

93 days in RBVO and haven't heard a peep......They haven't even responded to my CSE......Krishnameister apllied a week after me and he already got the visa.....

We received your application for permanent residence on November 18, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 24, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 19, 2011.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

It's only 21 days (24/05/2011) since I sent my passport to NDVO with PCC. Medical was done on 12th May though.
I am a bit nervous abt what the decision wud be.

I hope the final decision will be a positive one and praying for that.
I wish & pray everyone get their visas soon.

Congrats. Is it you who gave me the advise on the process of getting finger print for FBI from CID? if yes than thank you. i got my PPR on 4th and submitted on 5th June in High Commission of Canada in Dhaka. However on insiustence of my agent I didn't give my old passports with the valid one and now regreting. Just out of curiosity, how many days did it take for you to get the passport aftter you submitted your passport?
Since you are the only BD post june to have received visa so far....i need to know this becuse I have to go to a conference on 4th July and I need the passport back before 25th to submit for visa.

I am sure you are goping through a very exciting phase of life and dont want to be bugged, but tesion you know

It took 30 days for me. But You can check CHC after 3 weeks of time if they have your PP back they will give it to you. Sometimes they miss out the letter to send for pick up PP. Best wishes.

Hi Saif,

In summary the article says that most probably the in-demand NOC list - to be introduced after 1st July 2011 - will remain the same as the list of 2010. The 1000 cap for each NOC will be renewed and 1000 applications will be accepted under each NOC.

It also says that although CIC is going to implement some changes in their pointing system in future, this system will not change in the short run. So we should expect for 2011,the same pointing system as 2010. They suggest putting a new pointing system into practice needs 12-18 months to be finalized.

The article reiterates that abovementioned facts are all implied during a meeting attened by CIC officials and immigration consultants' representatives. An official statement is yet to be released by CIC .

As for Damascus slow processing of post June 26 applications, it says that CIC blames it on the transfer of Damascus officers to other cities (Beirut, Warsaw and Ottawa) due to the current unrest in Syria. They are hopeful that processing the applications in Damascus will gather pace following a solution to the crisis in Syria and the return of immigration officers to Damascus VO. (Is there any news that the unrest has let up????)

My case specific enquiry has come to bite me in the arse. I just received a letter from CHC NDVO asking for more information about my employment letters and also a my IELTS score. I am surprised because all my employment letters were included with all my duties and also the original copy of my IELTS test report form. :-\ :'( ???

I have included all my employment letters and my ielts score again. And also a letter explaining everything. Sending it tomorrow morning. Lets hope it works....... fingers crossed.

Any suggestions are welcome

Hmmmmmmm....

Well we are now at 60 days since our medical requests were issued (13th April 2011 - hence the 60 day deadline for everything is today).

London visa office got our medical results 6 weeks ago (28th April), and our RPRF/PCCs etc 4 weeks ago (16th May).

ECAS still "In Process" without medical results received line.

Anyone hazzard a guess on when we're likely to get PPR? We have CIIP next Tues/Weds (21st+22nd) and it would be great to have PPR by end of this week so we can stay in London 1 extra day and hand in our passports on Thurs 23rd. But need to know by the end of this week so we can arrange the extra day holiday off work, so might be cutting it a bit fine now!

They have asked for copies of the employment letters and IELTS. They have asked me to explain couple of gaps in my employment history.. I had sent them letter about the gaps with my application. No idea why they want it again.

Kinda worried... I have everything ready.. so will send it again tomorrow morning
