Buffalo is not even saying Received by Visa Office to anyone that I am aware off :'( . . .. Oh well building some patience and tolerance skills....

I quite appreciate that. Its difficult to see some VOs requesting for passports and even cairo saying "your visa is ready.... subject to paying landing fees, etc" and others are simply inactive. CIC should have done their homework to make the whole process fair to all applicants irrespective of the region or VO.
I am still grateful to them for the opportunity to migrate to Canada. I still think CIC need to do more about LONDON, BUFFALO, DAMASCUS,... VOs.

The letter is almost 6 pages and it is hard to post it here but let me try and type main paragraphs for your info and others as well :
Dear sir,

This is to advise you that the processing of your application to immigrate to canada has reached the stage where immigrant visa(s) can be issud to you (and your accompanying debendants) as soon as the Right of Permanent Residence Fee has been paid and/or your settlement funds are available. You and your spouse are required to pay the right of permanent residence fee in the amount of $490 or (EGP 2550) for each. This fee is refundable in the event that you decide not to proceed to canada to be grated permanent residence. Please note the method of payment attached.

Unless you remit your right of permanent residnce fees before the end of the validity of your visa, I will not be able to finalize your application and issure immigrant visa(s). I must advise you that delay in the payment of the right of permanent residence fee may result in the expiration of your security or medical results. No extension are normally possible. The immigrant visa is valid for one year of the date of your medical examination.

This is page of them and the others are speaking about medical to be done in 1 month and details of tests somehow with processing. The remaining ones refer to the payment methods and sending the receipts ( quite confusing the amount ) we shall see. In between lines there is refering to landing fee to be paid later and an IMM8 application to be sumbitted.

Hi Shareen,

Congrats for completing the med tests, we have got an appointment for med test on Monday hence wanted to know did they ask for black and white photo negatives, we have been told to submit the negatives along with the medical forms.

Also I'm suprised why is the VO asking for PCC if you have submitted it earlier, can you please confirm whether you have got the PCC from the Police Commisioner's office or from the passport office.

We got the PPC from Bangalore Police Commisioner's office, I'm bit worried now that they might request for PCC at a later stage.

just finished my medicals today....

nothing to worry...just basic examinations......but my doctor asked me and my husband what is our intended work/occupation once we land in canada :....

tests included are

1. Physical examination
2. X-ray Chest
3. Urine Routine
4. HIV
5. VDRL

they said it would take them 5 working days to send the results to ND-VO....

since the VO has asked me to submit another PCC, its going to take us another week b4 we submit our documents... :

since i have been out the whole day, i have almost 7 pages of posts to read ;D.....i m sure few ppl would have received their share of good news (PER,AOR, MR)....congrats to all

Dear Friends,

Had couple of queries below regarding the dispatch of passport to VO and RPPF

In the medical request letter it says in bold not send the passport until requested by VO, in another letter they are reqeuesting for passport, RPRF to be recieved by VO by 17th next month, just wanted to confirm if this is same for other med request recieved applicants.

What is the prefferef mode of dispatching the passport to VO , can we courier it or do we send it by registered government post? , I prefer to send the passport by courier for speedy delivery and for online tracking.

What is the prefered mode of RPRF is it in Canadian dollars or Local currency , I have been given an option to pay in Indian rupees or Canadian dollars.

Please let me know your thoughts regading my queries
