Yipee! So Happy!
and to @ beaanddrei, Congrats also!
If I would be you, I would inform VO after 2 weeks after PER (or so), hoping that your documents have already arrived. But I think you have time till the 2nd AOR. Even if you will do it later (just after 2nd AOR) they will not reject you, it can cause some delays, but they judje upon your jub duties that you have performed on the date of application submission.canada0801 said:Question to practically minded, non-melodramatic and knowledgeable forum visitors!
So, here is the :
PREMISES:
A) Application was submitted in October/2010
B) We have moved since (change of location, jobs etc.)
C) PER received recently.
QUESTION:
1. HOW SOON DO WE HAVE TO NOTIFY VO about these changes?
After CIO PER or VO AOR (2nd AOR) ?
We applied through consulting firm, but I don't feel like they really are too concerned with our applications ( no wonder, it's OUR LIVES not theirs... 8) )
So, we would like to know how soon and what updates should be sent to the VO (these are 'change of circumstances' updates, not addl docs requested or anything like it).
Knowing how things can go wrong ( Murthy Law never fails to prove it's validity) , the last thing one would wish to encounter is VO doing the app checks quickly after PER (before change of address and circumstances update) and finding out applicants no longer live and work where the applications say they do and rejecting apps on that account
So, what would be the proper action?
Thanks, Cur-Rozen !Cur-Rozen said:If I would be you, I would inform VO after 2 weeks after PER (or so), hoping that your documents have already arrived. But I think you have time till the 2nd AOR.
