Seems like its a big leap for CIO from mid oct to mid dec???

Just painted myself green .. Although my applicaiton was received on 15th Oct 2010 8) as per the courier, my ECAS status says they received it on 16th Oct 2010 . I wouldn't mind that as i have the PER already :-* :-* :-*

My ECAS only shows application received.

Just noticed, in the PER mail, they say

Your application will be forwarded to the visa office in       for further processing.

Why did they not put New Delhi? I only see a gap there :-[

true my application didnt even pass completeness check. my bd was also not encashed. i had filed my application through a agent and he was over confident that POF is not required at this stage.
i think i wil l now have to wait for the new quota to open. thats the only choice with me now.

can someone tell me where exactly CIC has mentioned that POF is definately required....i want to show it to my idiotic agent.

Sorry to hear your story. I am thinking in a different direction. Everybody seems to accept CIO verdit on our applications. Thanks to CanadaJimmy. He has proved that CIO can change their decision. I know that Canadajimmy's case is totally different from yours. However, I want you to give yours a trial. I will encourage you to resend the application with the proof of funds. Who knows, anything can happen. Besides, you stand to lose nothing other than postage costs. Even if its rejected again, it will not take anything from you. I am sure one person may have a different answer from CIO.
Its just my thinking. I am not trying to be naive here. I am deeply moved by the ignorance of your agent.
