I noticed in the google spreadsheet that skilled workers from Manila are receiving their 2nd AOR now.

Can you guys shed some information what all details are coming in the second email.
Are they asking for PCC, Medicals etc ?

Any info will be appreciated.

I received this email from Buffalo Visa Office regarding the ECAS.

"e-Cas is for applications processing within Canada only.
Immigration cases being processed in Visa offices outside Canada use a system different from that used to process similar applications in Canada. As a result, the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) does not reflect the status of cases being processed in Buffalo.

Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Buffalo."

...........................Now so many people are able to check in online (some even from Buffalo VO), this message seems very confusing to me. Anybody with any help.

And now they reply (2nd reply)
"There is no system for checking the status of applications processing outside Canada."
How come than so many of you are able to check status online? Are they giving me false information? Anybody has any idea?

Dear All,

I am back after a long time. Things have changed now....... pple(Anil and lot of others) are turning their attire to blue. Congrats to all who got their PERs.......... ;D

I also need some advise from this think tank...... I emailed CIO for my application status on 20th Jan 2011. And recently I got reply from them which is

"Please be advised that AORs are not provided by CIO-Sydney. Your file # is B********* and is currently awaiting assessment. You will be advised in due course "

I checked my status on e-cas its " In Process".

Can anybody guide me on this........... :-\

Some people's file number begins with "E", others is "B". We have not yet been able to ascertain what the difference is.

dear roy,
UCI is your client/Foss Id. That is what UCI means. E00000000 is your file number. Visa office has changed its GCMS process. B000000 file numbers will no longer will be issued.I f your file was submitted after July 2010, then your whole file is transfered to visa office with all supporting documents.

Visa office will contact you if anything else is required.

You can check your online status by using this ID.
