Everyone. It is down.

Everyone is checking their ecase except very few people in spreadsheet. I am one of them. For some reason, I can't check my ecase at all. I am doing it wrong?

Please help.

They won't reject you straight away for it but visa office will probably ask you for statements. Otherwise it would be very easy for someone to borrow the money, get a bank certificate, and return the money within a matter of days, and this is what they are trying to avoid, they want to be convinced that this is your money.

I think their operation manual says if they are not satisfied initially with proof of funds they will write to you and ask for further documents.

I see that makes sense.. Well anyhow I can provide whatever they need. I am not sure I would ave statements though, since it is a savings, fixed term deposit...
One of those you put money into and get them out on 6 months, or can extend for another 6 ...
I got savings in there and i dont really touch them...
Not sure what proofs I can get but I could talk to the bank if needs be...

one of my friend who filed his application on 28th of Oct at CIO. his code is 0631, visa office is Australia and he received his Per today. it seems very fast at Australia office. hope my one will come soon.

What did you mean by "seems very fast at Australia office", you meant in CIO, right?

I received my first PER on Dec. 29. I guess it depends on the visa office now. Manila is the first one to send this so called 2nd PER/AOR for post June 26 applicants. I didn't contact them. Some applicants from Manila with close application dates as mine also got the same email, they started sending it on Feb. 1

This might sound silly, but this winter was pretty bad for the maritimes in Canada, and I don't know maybe its kind of tough for the officers to get to their jobs. Mine was received iin September 30th, CC processed OCtober 5th, still nothing. Really makes me wonder, and leads me to think is not gonna be good news. In any case, keep the fait

Salvador: It is not a silly assumption that work may have been disrupted by winter storms in Nova Scotia. They are bracing for a whopper now and I would be surprised if anyone goes in to work. Schools were closed in Toronto, heavy snow and wind, just dreadful in the East.

One query,

I have a baby girls birth after sending my applicaiton, now she needs to be added in the immigration process,

My queries:

What are the documents required to be send to VO?
When to send? Can i send before i receive 2nd AOR or i should wait for 2nd AOR and then send the updates.
Should i send mail first or direct courier of the additonal documents to VO?
Then when to send PCC?

i am waiting 2nd AOR and getting confusion bcz of the birth of my baby and additional process.

quite a few forum members have reported the same issue with their ecas status......lets c how it turns out after a few more days

Wow Is that so ??? I did not know. All I sent for proof of funds was a letter from bank stating my account details and balance.
You think I can get denied for that reason ??? Or is something the VO can require later on ?
Oh my completeness check I think it was done, since I got my card charged... Does that means my letter is enough proof of funds ?

I did some more reading on my VO specific Proof of Funds Req here :

Bank certification leeter would be enough at initial stage as I got my PER and I only sent Bank Balance certificate
VO may required later stage
