Hi Kalimorian,did u send any CSI after Medical? I sent CSI to visa office bcoz I cann't tolerate waiting time is killing me.Have any negative impact for CSI?would u tell me plz bcoz after sending CSI I m little bit worried.

I have two things to say.

1) Tip: Please think before doing any thing.. Thinking after doing may have a negative impact.
2) I dont think there will be any negative impact for sending CSI.

I know how painful it is to keep waiting. But, its out of our control. All the best.

Yes table I did CSI to up data them about my DD , in reply they said Only waiting for BC.... So I think it's not issue to ask but not again n again..

Again n again is not good but I did CSI only first time.i hope so u will get PPR very soon inshallah.make a dua for everybody.

The validity of your medical results has been extended until 7 December 2013, which will also be the new validity of your visa. We must, however, receive your passport and issue your visa before 16 December 2012.

I really didn't expect this answer from them. still I cant believe that they are going to give me a 1 year visa!!! without redoing medical tests !!! its not normal.

but you mentioned that I can enter Canada only for 2, or 3 days just for validating my status? I knew that we should stay there to receive our PR card, because for entering Canada later on we need this card for entering, its not true?!

For starters, you must send the passports, even if it accompanies a letter requesting re-medicals.

Any deviation from what visa office is asking for can result in the failure of an application, and once an application has failed it is a royal pain to get them to reopen it, even if you're not at fault.

Technically the re-issuance of medicals is at the visa officer's discretion since "about to expire" is somewhat relative. Realistically nobody could argue against the notion that 5 days is not sufficient notice to book and make a trip to Canada in order to land.

However, if you COULD manage to land without retaking your medicals then this would all be signed and sealed and done and dusted. Until you are a landed resident, you are not a resident at all even if PR is granted. You have no idea how the rules will change and personally I wouldn't feel totally safe about my PR status until I'd actually landed and it was confirmed.


Germany to Nova Scotia is a 4/5 hour flight. You could do a quick landing trip within a single weekend to validate your visa and return to Germany on the next flight. Ok it would be tiring but it's a one off and then you'd have up to 3 years before you had to go to Canada again (since you only need to stay 2 years out of every 5 to keep your PR status).

Think of all you've invested time-wise into this application. For the sake of one hectic weekend it may be worth landing in December if that's a possibility?

I wrote email to ND visa office on 10 august 2012 and got reply today on 16 November 2012. I have applied for GCMS notes and its almost 50 days now didnt receive them when contacted consultant to know about GCMS notes it has be advised to them by visa processing office that they are working on my file .. and now i no left with no other option. end of story !!!!
