A couple of weeks back, I wrote to London VO complaining of the procedure whereby people who applied later are seeing greater progress than those who applied earlier.
I also reminded them of the unfair situation where circumstances have changed due to their inaction which allows one set of applicants, within the same cycle, to get their visa based on their circumstances when they applied while the others have to deal with changing circumstances.
Last week I got the generic response "This is in response to your enquiry.Your application is in process or waiting to be reviewed by an immigration officer. No further action is required by you at this time. Our office will contact the applicant when a decision has been made or if further information is required. Immigration decisions and information requests are sent by post or email to the addresses provided in the application. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum"
I thought that was the end of it but today I got a follow on which says "Thank you for your recent enquiry. Please be advised that your application has now been reviewed by an immigration officer. The next steps in the processing of your application are due to be taken shortly, which includes the issuance of medical forms. We will be in contact with further information in due course."
At least I got a positive response for my persistence.
