I think Spokes must have got the B05 number when he called up CIC or enquired about his app by email. Then, when he got the PER, it was a E number as we can see from the spread sheet that people after a cut off date are getting ony E numbers.
Hi Kolhapuri,

I notice you are a London applicant. Is your ECAS process still "IN PROCESS"?

I have a question and I know it might have been asked before but I can't seem to find any reference to it. Why are some names on the spreadsheet marked in red and bolded (on the tracking tab)?
Because I am in the middle of auditing the spreadsheet for inactive users. Anyone in red has not posted on the thread for 1 month or more.

Once I've finished the audit I will move everyone who is inactive over to the inactive users tab, so that the tracking sheet represents only active users who keep us up to date with their status etc.

Wayne.

well i guess that you're wrong :) If i have an PR card, i can move all over Canada - also to Quebec. I just have to land in another province. i called here: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/reach/telephone.html
i was talking to a man who had immigrated to Montreal from Poland (amazing!) and he told me that i could even try to land in Quebec, but there is possibility that they won't let me in (and i'm going with my kids so i don't like this :)). Another thing i can do is landing in another province - immigration procedures are done at the airport and i'm canadian PR then. Im going to Quebec and i can live there. When i'm renting a house in Quebec i can apply for QSSW Certificate - usually it takes about 10 days to get it when i'm already there.
I just did some further reading on the subject, and it appears you are correct, can't find where I read you have to wait a year or two. Glad I found this out, because it opens another door for me as well :)

As I said, the only "conditional" PR I am aware of is Provincial Nomination, where you agree that you will remain in the province that has sponsored you for X number of years (2 or 3 years I think).

Any PR gained through Federal programme you can live and work anywhere in Canada including Quebec. As the OP pointed out though, the difficulty may be in landing. So land in another province then move to Quebec afterwards and you're good to go ;p

This isn't an option we'd considered. I could probably actual get an intra-company transfer to Quebec since my UK company has been bought out by a French-Canadian broadcasting company based on Montreal, but it's the opposite side of Canada from where we want to live, we've kind of set our hearts on British Columbia.

Oh okay. That's great thanks for both the clarification and for an amazing job of compiling all this info together.

Yes Wayne, It is still 'In Process'. After clicking on In Process, it says - Your app was received on sept 20.
I was hoping it should have been updated to - CIO review complete like others but it isnt.

Has anybody idea about which province is better for AGRICULTURE?

Saskatchewan's economy is associated with agriculture.Wheat is the most familiar crop and the one most often associated with the province (there are sheafs of wheat depicted on the coat of arms of saskatchewan, but other grains like canola, flax, rye, oats, peas, lentils, canary seed, and barley are also produced. Beef cattle production in the province is only exceeded by Alberta.

With NOC 1122s you have a problem of limited employment prospects in BC. If I can find a job there, that is certainly where I would take my family, the place is beautiful and the climate much better than elsewhere in Canada. With Montreal though, since I speak French, that could open additional doors for employment, now that I know I can live there... thanks to Cay_sha :)

mostly the ecas status for all the applicants between 20th sep and 20th Oct 2010 is "CIO-ER complete".....and it almost took a month for raj's file to reach ND-VO....so i guess in another 10 days or so, our files should reach ND - VO .....

ny other theories ??? ;)
