true my application didnt even pass completeness check. my bd was also not encashed. i had filed my application through a agent and he was over confident that POF is not required at this stage.


i think i wil l now have to wait for the new quota to open. thats the only choice with me now.

can someone tell me where exactly CIC has mentioned that POF is definately required....i want to show it to my idiotic agent.

That is terrible! I am very sorry to hear this news, Nish, and how you were misled by your agent. Out of my own interest how much did this agent charge to mishandle your case in such as appalling manner? Did you receive a full refund?

Checklist clearly says proof of funds is required at the application stage.

I am afraid that since the NOC cap is now full and CIO are not at fault, there is nothing that can be done other than to wait until 1st July and hope that 1122 is still on the list, or try to secure a job offer.

However, I would consider suing the agent. At least demand a FULL refund of any fees you've paid on threat of suing them for professional malpractice. I would also be suing the agent for all of the costs of your application process so far, since it is their fault that your application has failed. Telling an applicant they don't need to provide proof of funds is incompetent and irresponsible.

i agree with wayne....u should sue this consultant and make sure u get every single penny back....since u have applied under noc 1122, i guess u cant go in for re-appeal...(cap has reached)....btw which consultant is this ?

I would like to have your view on the fact that they missed out to mention the Visa office in my PER.

Everything looks similar to the format read in the forum, except this line..

Your application will be forwarded to the visa office in       for further processing.

I can see that the ecas status has changed for many of the applicants in this forum, what i am not able to understand that though i received my PER on 23rd Nov, my application status still shows "In process". Wonder what is happening with my file and where is lying right now CIO or VO?

Could anyone suggest what to do i cannot login into this forum thru my cell, i have to login using my laptop which kind of becomes cumbersome sometimes. Is there any mobile link as well?

Hi everyone, below is an additional info in my ecas status. I have read somewhere back that someone already has the update like this, so probably that member has also received a MR.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 7, 2011.

BTW, I still haven't received the documents sent by my VO, so obviously they used a snail mail. I'll wait til next week. Only 3 days have passed though.

I noticed the date, that was when you received your PER.

funny thing, it seems my file was started to be processed only when they asked for my medicals and other requirements. So, the few months back was just a review and not a process.haha
