A bit disappointing I guess all of us were hoping something better from the VO's. 6 months have already passed since we sent our applns to CIO and now another waiting period of 6 to 12 months. The change in the procedure was supposed to make things faster, on the contrary, things are getting delayed.

You are right,and If indeed this is a new trend for us to tackle,then I guess this is a great possibility that the processing time for us will be more than a year.Oh boy!,but for now,I will be worrying about my Per first... ;D

Finally i got my PER this morning.

"your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing"
"Your application will be forwarded to the visa office in New Delhi for further processing"

One of my friend who is older applicant (before 26th june), he received VO inquiry from New Delhi. I want to share the same with you all.

VO called my friend on his cell number and asked personal and professional details. Then He (visa officer) asked number of company where he is working. Visa officer then called to his company from another phone keeping first call active. Visa officer asked the same details to his company and relatively inquire all the details. Then he asked few more questions to my friend. The call was 30 mins approx with both company executive and my friend called at same time.

Hope this will help to all to secure VO inquiries.
