Well I wish it's true but replies to the e-mail queries sent by some of the members to their respective VOs have categorically denied receiving the files from CIO, NS

Check on the 3rd link under ecas status

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_wrkr&lang=en&app=ecas

It clearly states that IN PROCESS status in ecas means all background * security checks are already been made by VO.
This means CIC and VO were surely in touch to surprise us. My feeling is we will straight away get the requests for medical.

Am i really being too optimistic Well its better anytime!

There is capped limit of 1000 people per category but still after passage of 6 months very few pople have applied for following categories

It clearly showing that people are feeling difficulties in applying for immigration,therefore Canadians authorities should make changes and relaxations in their immigration process,at present it is simply impossible for a person to apply for immigration who is not having any relative in Canada.
Even a person having Master Degree,IELTS 7.0 SCORE,Experience of 20 years, even then he will need score 0f 5 points due to his relative for compliance of 67 marks.

Most of my friends who had applied in Jan 2010 have received their request for medicals only now...Any idea how long it might take for the medicals ?

Hi,Congrats on your PER. Well, we are all speculating about the medicals. We will not know for sure until one member of the post june 26 applicants gets a request from VO. so here is my 2 cents. We can expect medicals in about 4 months from PER date.

Hello Friends.
I have a question from forum mates from India. I got BD from Union Bank of India. However my locan branch is unable to tell me if my BD has been encashed. They told me BD is only issued by that branch and the bank has a tie up with Nova Scotia bank which actually honors the BD. NS bank transacts with some branch in Mumbai. Hence local branch has no knowledge about it.

What can I do in this situation. My goal is to know if my application was complete. It was delivered to CIC on Jan 6, 11 at 6 pm. Please say what can Ido.

Alright, this anxiety is killing me .. I am checking my email over and over again but nothing from cic :'( .. the only emails catching my eye are lottery notifications, $$$ ones. Who knows if I win one, I can enter Canada on investor visa. ;D

Can anyone tell me the mail id cic uses to send PERs/NERs and what does the subject line say.
