Hello everyone,
I am new in this forum. These are my application details:
App received 25th Oct and CC charged 1st Nov. NOC: 1122, VO: London
However, I have some concerns and I want you all to help me out.
These are my concerns:
(1). I only sent one month savings account statement with initial application to CIO. That was all I have as at then. That was when I was able to raise the required proof of fund (POF). I now have additional 3 months statement after the application.
(2). I did not send my wife's transcript because it was taking too long to get from the university. The transcript is still not out even now. I only included statement of her degree result. She studied in Nigeria. I also studied in Nigeria but I did my Masters degree in the UK. However, I still scored over 67 points without her degree.
(3) My wife is expecting around june/july 2011. At the moment we are a family of four (Wife, 2 children & myself) Do I need to provide proof of funds for 4 people or to include funds to cover the unborn child? In otherwords, which POF do I need to show - for 4 people or 5 people? Also, will pregnancy delay processing of my application?
Please can somebody help explain how the above factors may impact my application.
Thank you.

Hi FAV,
For your query,
1. the POF you have shown is liquid , so it can flow in or out any time anywhere, as my friends and relatives have shown their POF during the immigration file was around 1-2 months old and they have got PR but keep in mind that after PER comes, maintain minimum balance in your account, possible that they can ask you a second POF during issuing the visa.
2. I guess you are the principal applicant, in that case your wife's study transcript is not that much mandatory as per my experience and others in my family who got PR. So dont worry about it but have you put her marksheet with your application?
3. Yes, there would not a big issue regarding the new member in your family (Congrats in advance), after PER comes, they will ask you about PCC or Medical or both, during that period you can inform your VO about the new member, they will send you a new request for medical for the new member, make sure that your baby would have passport first, before informing the VO. Send Birth Certificate, Passport of the baby and be a safer side a certificate from the hospital or the doctor attended your wife. You have to show the extra members' POF during this process.
One of my friend got Medical in May 2006, at that time his wife was pregnant, the medical report mentioned that the dependent applicant is pregnant (6 months' pregnancy) and the VO did not respond to my friend's application for about three months after medical and other required documents submitted, when he sent the Passport, Birth Certificate of the new born child and Letter from the Hospital where the child was born, they have finished all the process and asked him to send all passport for Visa stemping. It is simply because if your child born in Canada it is their liability and if child born outside Canada it is parents' liability.....don't worry my friend, we will organise party next Christmas at Dundas Square Downtown Toronto.
you can check the total amount as per the family member on : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp#tphp%20idtphp
Good luck brother.
