My sincere recommendation is to take your kid with you....

PR cards are processed for applicants who have landed.

If your son is allergic to long travel, try getting a flight which splits the total journey hours equally. (try lufthansa)...

Another idea is to stay in frankurt or any other transit country in-between for a day or two and then fly to Canada...

Hi All,

Can someone please guide me with the right information -:

By the grace of GOD my family has received Canada PR Visa on the passports. My wife is the principal applicant and we are planning to leave to Canada without my son who is only 8 months old and is just not able to sit in long international flights based on past experiences.

Will me and my wife get pr cards after we landed (45-60 days in Canada) or will CIC start processing pr cards only after all the applicants land based on the application.

I am planning to go back to INDIA and then get my son after 6 months like 10 days before visa expiry into Canada. Will this be a problem ?

Appreciate any replies to my post,

Your PR will be processed independently as long as the Principal applicant has landed. However, i think your son at 8months it too tender to be left without the care of his mother. Children of lesser ages do travel such long distance and like some one has suggested, you can break the journey. I recommend you travel with your son.

CAIPS is the old system, all VO's should be on GCMS now.

I use www.visafile.info all the time and it is great and the most affordable.

I tell you how to order GCMS anyway. As you have a friend there it would cost you just $5.

Yes you can order CAIPS notes. Its very easy. It can be done by email.

First fill this form, your (friend/sister) requester will sign it.

then fill this consent form and sign yourself

If you want to pay by credit card fill your card no and sign. If your friend/sister will pay for it he will provide his card details and sign

You can't find credit card form online.

Ask your friend/sister to provide his Canadian passport /PR card and his recent bill / bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada.

Scan everything and ask him to send everything by email to , it all very safe and i did the same by help of
coke and bull

but tell me.. Did you try sending them the email I suggested (telling them about the GCMS notes, that your filed is so much delayed & you can ask if it is going to be transferred to another VO as you heard it happened to many others)?

I am filling forms but I need 2 ask a little help plz help in this regard.

1. In form IMM 5475e, what should I write in question 3? Q3 is If u have already submitted ur application, Location of Office and then type of
application in this question about which application they asking plz clear it.
2. In the other form IMM 5563e section B information requested there are two types of files Electronic files and Physical files which 1 should I
tick?
3. If I gave my own email address which is not in my immigration file (in section C) of the IMM5563e, so that the CAIPS file will come to me
directly, is it okay??
4. And the most important thing how can my sister submit the 5 $ fee with application what is the procedure of online payment?
5. And when I prepare all these documents so I'll Scan and send it to my sister then she sign it again scan and then email??

Plz friends clear these questions, I am vry tense
