I applied under FSW2 on Dec. 24, 2010, via Buffalo... No word from Buffalo yet. My file hasn't even been transferred. Anyone in my same situation?

Hi CanadaDo,

Yes, I had opted for electronic file, and I received the file in an email as PDF attachment. About your file#, has your file been transferred to any Visa Office? If yes, then you will have received your 1st AOR (possibly an email or letter, or both) from Visa Office. If you did get an email or letter, that letter will have new file#. Wait until your file has been transferred to VO, and wait before you see the processing time is higher than posted on CIC website.

Mine was transferred to Buffalo on 1st of March 2011. I have been in INPROCESS since then. No other information from the office. Now that Buffalo office is closed, I was wondering if I should try to get some information as to where the application is.
I was impressed by the details you got on your application. Hence my question.

I applied in Nov 2010 and my application was transferred to Buffalo in March 2011. INPROCESS since then. Now the office is closed and no other information. I am told all the INPROCESS applications have been transferred to an office called in Ottawa. Again no communication on that from the agency/ office.

I came to Canada on a work offer and visa thinking that efficiency and rule of law are the order of the day here. The more I live and work here and experience the country the less stellar it is.

But then I suppose familiarity breeds contempt!

And my experience with the immigration system is not helping either.
