Thanks wenstumped.....wenstumped said:Hi beaanddrei and trailends,
What you received is the automated response from the CIC to let you know that they have received your enquiry. They reply with a more specific email in a day or two.
Just so everyone knows, nobody here has heard anything concrete from the CIC other than those who have received the AORs. So far, only the people whose application was received in July have received the much awaited AORs. So we all need to be more patient and hope that tomorrow and the day after brings a flood of AORs.
Thank %^&^ for thatasaif said:Guys ... I finally got the AOR few minutes back.
I think 33 weeks is a standard thing they are told to say. Clearly many users here have now received AOR in far less than 33 weeks. Also, I am thinking that in 33 weeks they are also allowing for the maximum length of time it may take for a returned application to get back through the Canada post / customs system and in the postal system of the country it is going to.priyavig said:am a little confused ..
i have applied under the NOC 1122 and my credit card has not been charged even though my application reached on 28th Oct
i just called up expecting them to tell me that my application would be on its way back since the cap has been reached BUT i was told that i have to wait for the 33 weeks to hear anything.. the call centre officer calculated from the time i sent in my application and said i would have to wait till mid may to hear anything further.
that my application was under processing and they had no more information to give me.
what does this mean?? have i made the cap?? am i on some sort of waitlist??
many congratulationsasaif said:Guys ... I finally got the AOR few minutes back.

Good question priyavig. In fact there has been much debate on this thread as to what will happen to a NOC when the cap is reached, since a good 5 to 10 percent might fail and not be accepted. If they are keeping your application on a "Wait List" as you say, that would mean they intend to accept exactly 1000 per NOC... Interesting... and I truly hope for your sake that this is true. If your application was being sent back, they would have told you, or you would have received a letter by now. I hope I am not giving you any false hope, just thinking out loud...priyavig said:am a little confused ..
