Don't know really whats happening? Shami.rash had got his medical updated on 24th Dec'11, which is similar to my case and yesterday he received his PRVs. So I think I am left alone! :-[

thanks for the link, dubaiite... I have been aware and have read at many places like on this thread that you have referred... that one has to have all funds at landing... But I have heard from many people that they have used a part of the money for immigration purposes only... and thereby have decreased the required fund limit... But still have faced no problem... So what I mean is that theoretically yes we require to maintain the full fund but practically many people have experimented otherwise without any problems so I want to know more of the practical aspect...

Yep afterall it's ur money you can use it anywhere, Put it in fixed deposite or withdraw it ..... but IMHO
try to avoid big n large transactions which may cause unnecessary enquiries moreover they may ask you POF @ anytime during the process that time ur account shdnt be less than what it requires to be .......
