Just want to let you know that I finally received the MR documents on Monday 3/10.

My dear fellow Buffalo applicants: I received my caips/gcms notes last night. I will post more details later but in short it is a 21 page document and they have pretty much not done anything since the eligibility review which was in feb and then transfer of file to Buffalo office from the CIO.
I am not very pleased to say the least.
My passport was changed by the time supporting documents were sent to Buffalo back at the of the transfer and the caips/gcms print I got shows my previous passport number.
Sorry, wish I had some more useful news to share.

Honestly I'm just trying to avoid depression. Like you I am separated from my spouse and it's been almost 3 years now... It's tough and every day that passes it gets harder. I just want to keep some hopes that the Buffalo will be unleashed soon.

I have very happy to announce that I now have a job offer I start work in Canada on 24th October.

I am flying over to Canada next week (11th October) so I have a week or two to get some things organised before I start.

Hi to all forum members, I am new here. I applied on the same NOC 1111 in April 2010. Sent all the documents to NDVO in August 2010. 2nd AOR in August 2010. Since then my status in ECAS is IN PROCESS. Though the address disappeared and re-appeared a couple of times. I have a few questions to ask the senior members here. Hope they can answer my questions.

1) I have read in this forum that employment verification is done to most of the members here. Though my employer hasnt received any verification call yet, wanted to know if any of the members who have received the employment verification call can guide me as to what will be the probable questions they will be asking to the employer.

2) What exactly does IN PROCESS means. I read in the CIC website that the applications which received through Nova Scotia, the IN PROCESS means that after they check the application and find that the doucments are in order, they proceed with the processing. Does this means that they have made up their mind to accept the application but its in process and it will be in que.

3) I dont know how to put dates of the application, etc which other members put it and it appears in the left hand column of the post. I tried to update my profile but there is no provisions to put my information there. Can anyone guide me please.

4) Are there any other members here from NDVO who applied in April 2010 and they received the visa in this particular NOC.

Would be greatful if senior members here can answer to my questions.

No they do not call most of the employers, only some (a minority). If they do, they will ask about your posittion and responsibilities within the company/organization

It most likely means they counted your points and started background checks given that you are a pre june 2010 applicant

Click on the upper left where it says profile and you will find it

I am not a NDVO applicant

2 years? But your profile shows that you submitted your app 01 Oct 2010.
By my own calculation, that should be 1 year + 6 days.
The waiting is hitting us hard

Wicked Blue your dates are close to ours,we are also waiting on MR. On the letter that was sent requiring extra docs to be sent it states on ours not to contact VO until 4 months have passed and we havent heard anythimg. I have read previous about someone who emailed and asked was there any more updated info required for there app to process futher,and they got MR. i cant remember where i read this but im sure it was on the forum.I think we will be doing the same in a few weeks time if we still havent received MR. Goodluck.
