@ Rod, thanks for suggesting rent.bc. I'll go through it today although I have to admit my earlier visits were not very fruitful. This website seems to be quite limited in its properties.

@ Kolhapuri, thanks for suggesting Indira's blog. It is highly informative and I think all new applicants as well as present ones who haven't landed yet should take a look at it.

@ 9J and Louise, yes! This is going to be my 'detox' time. I'm going to have to get rid of my habit of checking ecase at least 5 times a day and once you guys get here, you'll realize its harder than it seems. ;D

@ Wayne, have you tried using your landing number to check ecase? Perhaps the immigration file number only works as long as you are still in the process if migration and once completed the landing record number kicks in.

Yeah but which is the landing number? The COPR form has application number, UCI and "Doc No" but no landing number? Apparently it begins with "W" but I cannot find the number anywhere.
