(1) She has to have a proper communication from VO that they have lost / misplaced / NOT received the medicals from DMP.
(2) Then contact the DMP and ask for the solution. Request them to send a photocopy of the Form A (Medical forms), if available. Also request the DMP to give a letter on his letterhead stating that a complete medical check up was conducted on the applicant. I don't think he will mention more than this on his letterhead (about the medical condition of the applicant).
(3) Take the DHL / courier confirmation details from DMP regarding delivery of Medical Report at London.
Send all these documents along with the photocopy of the Medical Examination payment receipt. For sl # 2 & 3, one must have 2 things ..... DMP must be understanding & supportive AND applicant must have the letter/ communication /confirmation, that medicals have not reached. STILL, if re-Medicals is inevitable, please try to convince DMP/VO that the candidate should not be charged for somebody else mistake!!
@ avi - They gave a call at my place and enquired, if we all went together for medicals ......... Wanted to actually tell them --> No, we wanted our children to land first, then we may think of landing!! ....
A week back I got a call again for my 2004 application. After clarifying the query, I asked about the present case. Then the lady confirmed that they have (she didn't say 'received') only our children medicals. Our medicals (PA & spouse) are not there (again she didn't say - Not received / lost/ not traceabe). My assumption - It is after they got my letter, they contacted our DMP and got the confirmation One thing is for sure - They don't want to take any responsibility for a mistake that must have happened from their side.... which IS rediculous!! .... She did say this --> Initially there was a problem in your medicals, we don't have your medicals in the file!!
On a negative note (sorry pre-June applicants) - I sometimes feel these NDVO buggers must have lost someone's medicals, and they are just passing the buck / time..... so that the validity is over and later can ask them for fresh medicals.... Disgusting ...I know PR is not our right (law/ haq) ...BUT this is not right (correct/ sahi) ....... There HAS to be some explanation for holding out the PP (& file) for 3/4/....../9/10 months!!
