Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hi,

Just heard that New Delhi's 2011 Quota of granting PR visa's (without AE) has exhausted.

Does that mean that Feb 2011 onwards PER applicants (who are in RBVO stage) have to wait for next year's quota?

Is it also possible that we may get ignored as pre 2008 cases?

Guys please suggest. I am gonna go into deep depression if it is true...

Hi guys,

Ok we land in 3 days (Saturday) but taking the car down to the airport on Friday night, and going to be really busy until then.

So I might not be able to post here much or respond to PMs until after we've landed in Canada now.

I will document our landing experience on my blog and check all my PMs again on Sunday once the first part of hectic madness is over! I have 2 job interviews lined up for next week in Vancouver so will see how it goes. Keeping the following week free at the moment in case I want to try for more job interviews after that.

So please be patient with PMs I will answer them in a few days as soon as I am able to!

NOW EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE TRUE.

For sure there is some reason. The pace has slowed down. Been nearly 2months since we heard any NDVO Applicant got into IN PROCESS.

Doent make sense. Does it mean that NDVO employees are going to shake their leg for the rest of the year?

I dont believe in this rumour but even if it is true, they will continue to process the apps.

They will work on othere type of Visas. PR Visas for sure has quota. Been seeing it since 2001. Whenever CIC propose new rules.....the current applicants are held back and they remain pending for years. As we all know CIC has proposed new rules....may be they want those applicants to be processed. They did this for 2003 applicants...then 2008 applicants then pre june 2010 applicants and now seems post june 2010 applicants.

The process will slow down until next year where new rules are going to be implemented. And in between if anyone is lucky will get through . From next year they will start working on applications filed according to new rules.

Congratulations Kolhapuri, I hope you get your visas stamped asap and make up for all the delay. As for me, I'm still waiting patiently for my PPR to turn up, really hoping things work out quickly and easily.

Thanks Wendy, yes we all hope you get your PPR soon too. The dealy seems to be a bit more than usual. But i think all VO's have suddenly gone into a slow drive for some reason.

I have been regularly following this forum and it is doing a great job. I want to add my details to the spread sheet.


Application Received by CIO- April 7, 2011
NOC- 0631
VO- New Delhi
PER- May 11th, 2011
RBVO- June 11th,2011
AOR Received ( Dated)- Aug 17,2011. Received on Aug 24th, 2011

My address disappeared on 19th of Aug,reappeared today and today I received my AOR through snail mail.

This proves that when ever address disappears (unless it is mass address disappearance), there is some update on our files and NDVO is back to work. Hence, people whose address disappeared...wait for the good news .

What I am worried about is...the AOR reads that the visa office requires 10 months to process the application under the category that I have applied. So, do I have to wait for 10 months to get " In Process". Did any one receive AOR with the above mentioned processing time???

I am talking abt cases whose has not received MR. Once they send MR ...they have to make Decision.
