Hi Cappuccino,

Please reply to my question.
I'm a post 1st july 2011 applicant (1122, date rcvd- 8th July)

In a scenario, where no one after application received date of 6th July has reported CC/BD encashment ( many people before this date too are still awaiting encashments ) & new cap updates showing 259 application for 1122 as of 29th July.

My question is : Have CIO Guys finished checking completeness of files till 29th July . All those who filed before that are in , if their files are complete .

OR

As the last encashment ( very few) reported was of 6th July application.Does it indicate that files only till the date of 6th July have been checked.

At this rate, the cap for 1122 will be full in 3-4 days. Do I stand a chance.??

Dear friends/forumers

I have been looking at spreadsheet (Tracker) since this morning and I found there are some cases that the status is not updated or even wrong. Since some cases refer to people I have talked to and followed their status, I know they have already informed changes in their status IN GREEN, however, the spreadsheet is still showing the old status.
As the main purpose of the forum was to be updated about things going on in different Visa Offices, I think we need to keep the spreadsheet updated.
As a suggestion, I think we (all of us specially those who are in process or RBVO waiting for MR, ...) need to check if spreadsheet shows our present status and inform seniors/admins to kindly update it.


Dear Seniors/Admins (specifically those who have got their visas),

Please do not get hurt but we understand you are most probably busy managing your life immigrating to a new country, so in case you think you cannot spend as much time as you did before updating the spreadsheet, please transfer the responsibility to others who are still following their process. This suggestion doesn't carry any criticism or disrespect to you and I myself respect you all for your supports, however I think in case you don't have enough time some others should follow the tradition of the forum.
Finally I would like to remind you that it is only a suggestion and I appreciate other opinions and comments improving functionality of the forum.

Congratulation ASaif for the positive update

I also got the same requirements dated 14th July as well, but no PCC required ,only updated forms (Application for PR, Background/Declaration) .But there is no mentioning about the medical and they gave me 45 days to send the documents

ASaif ,I think we have the same timeline ,we have the same noc ,we got "In process" on the same day ,and the same requirements for update on the same day also.

Hopefully we got the medicals sooon

Guys,

Today I received a letter from London VO asking for updated forms (Application for PR, Background/Declaration), updated police certificates from my current country of residence (UAE), evidence of sufficient funds, photographs of my children, and RPRF.

They stated that the Medical Instructions will be issued upon receipt, and asked me to send a request to withdraw an old pending application (since 2007).

The letter is dated 14th July. They gave me 60 days to send these documents.

Based on your experience, when shall I expect the medical examination documents (given I send these documents within a couple of days)?

Hi, to the best of my knowledge an application counts towards the cap after the completeness check is completed. I imagine the bank draft or credit card slip is sent to the relevant CIO accounts department at that point, and from there it may take a few days to process the payment, and a few days for that to clear at the other end.

So I think that someone's application will count towards the cap BEFORE the payment is actually taken.

However, since I don't work at CIO all I can really do is intelligently guess!
Not much you can do but wait - did you pay by credit card or bank draft?

Also the figures shown only include the applications which have been opened, as of 29 July 2011. So it is fair to assume they also had other applications waiting which had not yet been opened. However, if your file actually arrived at CIO at 8th July 2011 then I cannot imagine it will miss the cap.

Congratulations ash ali. Great news to start of the new month.

Also hearty Congratulations to Asaif, you certainly have waited long enough for some movement. Does your ecase show In Process now? I'm guessing it would take roughly a month to get the MR after your docs are received. All the best!
