and few example f post june 2010:
they sent query to few people regarding tax n marriage....now y do they ask for more documents? it because they just have doubt ... if they wud checked with IT department and made personal visits they wudnt have asked for more documents...they just ask the applicants to prove ....they dont check personally.

what cud not been done in 5 years u think will b done in 5 months? u mean they increased the staff n security personell to check??? i have been associated wit people who are immigrant lawyers as well many people i know hwo got PR ...... from more than 5 years....only thing i heard is...they call COMPANY or Bank....not heard anythng apart from that....either people get refused because of Fake unemplyment/ funds or fail in interview.....did u heard anyone got refused for any other reason...which they checked n found it fake?

Security checks and background checks are done by CIC - this is a Universal fact despite receiving PCC's from candidates. Are you sure that all PCC that are received by CIC are genuine and not doctored. We know how certain offices work in some countries...give MONEY and take your PCC....it is shameful but this is how it works in my own country. Thus CIC have to do their own investigation.

Secondly, if anyone was denied entry in Canada due to the CIC security checks, do you think that person will announce that fact on a public Forum. I don't think so.

And Yes, what could not be done in 5 yrs could be done in 5 months...because the CIC system has upgraded itself and is in the teething process and I am sure after a while everything will be streamlined and efficient.

ask the people who applied bfore 2008....their staus just show Application recieved...and they have to wait for damn 5 to six years to see their staus to IN PROCESS..and once in process they get MR or interview call....so it clearly says they dont look at ur file wen it is in recieved status....now dont say that NDVO takes 5- 6 years to check the security checks etc.... also they do update whatever is going on...if it RBVO it means just RBVO

i am rbvo ndvo since 12june 2011 but no 2nd aor from ndvo. Wht u says? Is it abnormal

postal delay boss postal delay....check with ur PO

AND moreover 2 AOR is just a letter which states that they recieved ur file on so n so date n processing time is so n so at that VO...for NDVO now it os 10 months

dont worry if u dont get 2 AOR as long as ur able to check ur ecas status....n do check with post office....it just a ordinary post they send.

cant say abt MR after RBVO......bcause few members got MR within a period of 1 month after their status changed to RBVO...but the fact is their staus chngd to RBVO after 4 months from the date of filing.

as far as i noticed from spreadsheet is that more than 80% of members got MR after 5.5 to 6 months from the date of application recieved at CIO.

so point is not wen ur ecas changed to RBVO ....imp is when ur application recieved at CIO.....and frm spread sheet i can see that no ne got MR before 5 months(except BHAVIKCPATEL 4M 24days)frm the date of apprecvd at CIO

Omo Naija, nothing nothing from Accra. My application was submitted August 2010 and PER received in December 2010. We were asked to provide new PCC and 1 year statement of account in April 2011 and we submitted them in June. We are keeping our fingers crossed hoping to hear from them real soon!

Beleive it or not the only requierement is a high school diploma The US immigration system s*cks and makes no sense. You are either sponsored by family or employer (which both ways take years) or you win the lottery!
