Hi, it's been a long time since I last entered this forum. I just want to let you know that my status has changed to In Process on 12 July (after one year and 3 days of receiving my application).

Finally, my ecas status has changed to In Process. It reads; Your application was reviewed and we started processing on July 12, 2011. Congrats to Asaif and I pray that all those early applicants (July, August, sept., Oct.) who are still on RBVO will move to In Process and get their MR soon. Thanks to every single person on this forum for your support over these months.

Well my contention is that if they can't decide in 4 months as to what they are confused about in a particular application then it raises doubt that the processing may not be strictly in the order in which the applications are received.......Especially when you know that many applicants who applied after you (as far as 3 months out) already have received medicals and few of them already running around with visas in their hand.

Jason i think tht, they might started working on our files late......

It's been over 2 weeks that address on ECAS disappeared, and have made century in RBVO status as on today...great going Buffalo...not sure when Buffalo would actually start working...

My PGWP will expire in Oct 2011, as my passport was only valid until Oct 2011 when I applied for PGWP, hopefully with new passport, will get extension until April 2012. If I don’t get anything until then (April 2012) from Buffalo, which I am sure I will not, as it is BUFFALO (the sleeping giant), I would need to get a LMO. I spoke to my employer yesterday and they are ready to do it whenever I would like to start the process. I suggested to wait for another 3 months. Lets see how this waiting game goes until then..

Congratulations ...... that was something!!! ....... As far as I remember you confirmed that you got Decision Made ...and we were guessing that it may be a bug. You were quite disheartened. Later, we even tried to contact you for the updates ....but you never came up. I can understand your situation and the phase / confusion you may be going through at that time.
Now suddenly you are breaking this good news.... Once again Congrats. ....You have to get your medicals done from any of the DMPs as given in the list. After 3 working days send your Passports, RPRF and PCC (if asked) through FedEx or Blue Dart to NDVO. You can also submit the photocopies of Medical Payment Vouchers. Also, if you have got any Travel History (in your old/expired PP), please send them (original) along with the valid/present passports.

Well guys there is a spanner in my application for now. My Passports reached London VO on Thursday and i received an email yesterday from them saying that the stupid lamination on my passport in off and i will need to get it fixed.

London VO also say in the email that the passport can be relaminated in Indian Embassy which i seriously doubt. Has anyone got such experience? I have read such cases on this thread but they had to get new passports.

Any help appreciated.

I think most of the cases who had this problem were from NDVO and so they just got new passports made. Best bet would be to check with the embassy directly! All the best mate!

But, did you get passport request and RPRF request together with MR?

Usually VO gives instructions how to deliver passports and pay fees. For me the best way was to drop off passports in person and pay fees in Warsaw VO.

You can also sent passports by courier.

Maggie is from NDVO!! So if everything is normal, then the applicants from NDVO gets all the Document Requests at one go .... ....like MR + RPRF + PPR + PCC request (optional) .......
We have to send it through post / courier only. We don't have a drop box and can't hand over personally!! ... That way Warsaw and London VOs are better ...... (I am talking about handling of PP only ..... )..........
