Hello everyone,

Just wanna let you guys know that we were right. I got a NER dated in 28 of June, 2011

Same reason here, no sufficient points. I am very very sand and depressed right now.

One question, and please answer. Can I apply for a visitor/tourist Visa to go for a short period of time. Have so many friends there... and I was plannig to be there in November since my best friend is having her first baby. I know it wont be for work, but I really need to see all of theme one more time. Hopefully I can!

Just now I logged in to e-cas and saw my address has disappeared for the first time. It was there till last night.
Anyone experiencing the same???

yeah...it happened to me before i got 2AOR.....so probably ur 2AOR is on way...or it can even be medicals... n the date wud be mostly todays...

They have to process 55000 application,till June 2012 which at least 200000 Passports to be stamped

How will they be slow Now ,Please Elaborate

and the 10000 application are not with VO but CIO how does it effect post June applicants ,Please suggest

NDVO sent medical request to jan 2011applicants....so it shows how fast they processesd ....now the work load is reduced for them n have lot of time

Hello friends,
I have one challenge and it's wearing me down.
As you are aware, my application has been paused at medical stage because of the baby we were expecting. The baby came on 27th June and I made passport application for him. At the end of the application processing, Nigeria immigration Service gave us 12th December 2011 for appointment. That means the passport will effectively be issued 10 working days later (about 28th December 2011). All efforts to explain my situation to them have not yielded any dividend. Please I need some good advice on what to do. Annoyingly, Nigerian passport application is done via online only. The system is faulty IMO. Given 6 months appointment time is not acceptable. And its only my baby's medical that is left to complete our application. Can I make his application to CHC London without a passport and explanation letter? I guess no.
Please guys I urgently need your advice and opinions. Anything is useful right now.

Getting the passport in Nigeria may cost a bit more but it is faster.

The standard appointment at the Nigerian High Commission now is 6 months. It's not a problem with the online system.

I have filed my application and current e-cas status is RBVO at London's VO.
My uncle is a resident Canadian citizen but I had not mentioned that in my application. Do you think I must add that now ? If yes then what documents need to be included?

i think it's not useful to send uncle's documents...because u've got enough score that CIO has sent it to VO.... moreover the documents which would be sent to VO, to get more score, is not acceptable for officer.... u just send supportive docs..that's it

Ive also just checked ecas and our address has disappeared. When others that this has happened to how long was it before it changed again and what is normally the reason. Im praying for all that we all get good news soon. :-*

Hi All,

An advise to those who are sending the RPRF DD & the Passports to ND VO, I'm advising this as my RPRF DD was misplaced by the ND Visa officer and had to send a new one which delayed my visa process by at least two months.

RPRD DD Details: You have to get the DD in favor of " Canadian High Commission" payable at Delhi if you pay in INR, if in CAD $ the " it is " Receiver General Canada" , please check the link given in the RPRF request letter for further info about DD.

Secure the DD & the Passports
Write the file # & passport Name & # of the principal applicant behind the DD,please put the RPRF DD in a separate cover , don't staple the DD, seal the DD in the cover, write the above said details again on the DD cover, write a cover letter with all the details , staple or gum the seal envelop containing the RPRF DD to the cover letter ( make sure you don't staple the DD when you staple the sealed enveloped to the cover letter), put your passports in a transparent separate cover , seal it and paste the file # & UCI details, passport # of the principal applicant .

Put all these in a good cloth lined cover, write the content details (Passport & RPRF DD) along with the application # on the top of the cover in one line ( need a A5/A4 size cover), seal the content and send it via Blue Dart / DHL
