If you have an international qualification like the ACCA, you have excellent chance of getting a job. If you don't, maybe you should commence it right away.

You are forgetting that Canada recognizes DUAL intent (as per my lawyer), plus I am obviously not going to leave Canada if I am going as a visitor with the intent to get my Pharmacist license there, regardless of the fact that I applied for immigration or not !
What a dilemma !

The second item here says - satisfy an immigration officer that you have ties, such as a job, home and family, that will take you back to your country of origin;

I dont see any dual intent here neither is it mentioned anywhere else here. Can you get some info from your lawyer if he is giving you info he can surely give you a link.

I have just received the Medical Request Forms and Landing Fees request by mail from London VO. The letter is dated 10th June, and the dispatch date on the envelope is 13th June. I have been given 60 days to submit the medical requests.

I am soooooooooooo excited, and feel like flying already

I have a quick question, is it possible to get a VISITOR VISA while waiting for the immigration process?
My application was approved by the "Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada" (PEBC) to take the foreign graduate pharmacist evaluation exam, and I have a letter that they said I could use to get a visitor visa to come take the exam that happens twice a year.

MY QUESTION: What do I do now? Wait for the entire process to land, or get a visitor Visa (not sure if they will approve it!) and come to Canada to start the pharmacist license equivalency process!?
First the "Evaluation exam", then take the 4 months class at the University of Toronto to prepare for the Qualifying Examinations (Pharmacy Board exams), to get my license.

If I wait for the immigration process, no one knows how long it will take!

NOTE: I have to apply for the first exam (Evaluation Exam) 3 months before exam date (Happens in June and January) and pay the $530 fee. Once I pass the first exam, they said I can change my Visa to a mixed work/student visa to take the class and continue the process.
**Overseas candidates who require a visa to take the examination in Canada are strongly encouraged to apply for their visa prior to the application deadline date. Candidates are not eligible for a refund due to a visa refusal, unless they have withdrawn from the examination either before the application deadline date or at least 8 weeks before the date of the examination.

What do I do now !?

It is okay to apply. True they will look at intent but I have applied for permanent immigration and I was not refused visitors visa.

hi, no she has not submitted niether did i the transcript we sent only degrees enveloped sealed but we wish to pursue and ry to convince them is that mandatory to submit transcript actually we mistaken
Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes
as if we have to submit degree in sealed envelope

To the best of my knowledge and I believe this is always included in every NER mail, the CIO may not accpet new supporting documents that was not part of the initial applications. So it does look like her chances of getting the NER reversed are very slim. She could still try though. If her NOC is not full, I'll advise she try to reapply.

dear all forum mates i have recieved my medical request today also their was no aor phase with me . thanks to dr hassib as u guided me all the way through. now my problem is that my wife is expecting baby on 22july and they have requested me medicals till 31july also we do not have a police clearence till yet means i have not applied for it and she is in punjab as of nw then how do i get it for her also i m shifting my accomodation after 5 days so my address also will change . THANKS TO THE FORUM FOR BEING SO SUPPORTIVE . I AM IN HARYANA SO LOTS OF MULTIPLE QUESTIONS PLEASE REPLY

Your time line is almost same as of mine. I also applied in August 2010, got PER in December 2010, InProcess since March 2011, Recieved Email for PCC in April, Despatched PCC in May and now I am also waiting for Medical Request. If you dont mind, will you tell me that you recieve the medical request by ordinary mail or through some courier, also did you recieve this mail in India? (please answer this as i am also waiting for medicals: but only if you dont mind answering these questions).

45 days were given for PCC.

1. Inform CHC about the coming baby. They will ask you to add with whatever additional papers required.
2. PCC as main applicant you can apply for both at Police Commissioners office. But for collecting PCC you both will have to go along your respective Passports.
3. For accommodation I suggest not to change, if really required and then inform CHC.
4. Try to take extension for Medicals till 15 Aug.

Thats what i would have done if required.
