My visa office is also Paris. On their web site there is a e-mail link, I used this to last week to verify receipt of our medicals as it was not reflected on ecas. Two days later I got an answer, maybe you could send a query this way.

AT THAT TIME I INFORMED TO KUWAIT POLICE AND EMBASSY OF PAKISTAN IN KUWAIT ABOUT MY PASSPORT BUT THEY REPLYED THAT NO ACTION REQUIRED AS IT IS ALREADY EXPIRED AND CANCELLED. NOW I READ ON THIS FORUM THAT CHC WILL ASK ABOUT THE OLD PASSPORT. PLEASE GUIDE ME WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW.

I HAVE ALREADY GOT MY PER ON 24TH MAY.

First, congratulations on your medicals, and thank you so much for your help, I will follow your advice.
I have another question for you: Did Paris VO ask you to submit any kind of additional supporting documents with the medicals, bank statement, PCC ..., I 'd like to be prep'ed in case.

Hi!

I am so happy that I have found this site!!! This wait is driving me crazy

Application so far;

24th December 2010 - completed application received by CIC NS
10th March 2011 - application for permanent residency recommended for further processing and sent to CHC London

We are going through Brazolot Immigration Co. Our advisor has said that it is taking up to 24 weeks to issue file receipts & that the total processing times at the High Commission is likely to be 12-18 months. Do these timings sound correct?

Payable at Delhi. INR will do, you dont need to pay in CAD. Think it is 21400/-. Please make sure the DD says "Receiver General for Canada" and NOT "Receiver General for Canada - New Delhi".

Hi, I have read somewhere in this forum that if you are paying in INR the draft should say "Canadian High Commission" , only if you are making in CAD then you need to say "Receiver general for Canada". Any way please verify with other members , because somebody got their DD back because of the same. Thanks.

I think you should indicate to CHC that you had an old passport which was lost and you reported it to the police and embassy. If possible,attach the response from the police/embassy. I don't really see this as a problem so far as the old PP had expired and cancelled. Just let VO be in the know abt the situation. Hope this helps. Good luck!

I don't really see this as a problem so far as the old PP had expired and cancelled. Just let VO be in the know abt the situation. Hope this helps. Good luck!

My ecas disappeared 8 weeks ago and still nothing shows up . Before it disappeared the status was "RBVO" , I even wrote to CHC but in vain. Have anyone else had similar experience? What to do now?

I think u clicked disable option of e cas and submitted that,so it disappeared,or ur agency did that?

did u use ur old passport during ur initial application??if not then I dont think u will need old passport.
