That's the best clarification and validation of our beloved eCAS and it's eccentricities.TimBit said:Hello everyone....
As i mentioned before I have been waiting for RBVO almost for 60 day and nothing.... So i decided to email them and ask they send me these:
"Dear Sir/Madam,
Your application # is xxxxxxxxxx. It is currently awaiting review by an officer.
No letter has been sent. Notification will be sent upon completion of the assessment of the file. It will be sent via the e-mail address on your application.
The online system (E-CAS) is a computer system that automatically updates during key periods throughout the creation and assessment of your file. However, at times the information that is transferred to the E-CAS system is erroneous. This issue has been brought to the attention of the appropriate party.
Thank you for your patience."
At least I know something new... lol
Thank you guys, just wanted to share this new info!
God bless you all.... TimBit

This is for all who has old and new passport, Please see following reply against my query regarding passport submission.
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.
You may submit both, old and new passports stapled together, five working days after your medical examination.
We trust that this information will be of assistance.

I'm yet to see the same, Prab is couriering it to me and I'll get to SEE it tomorrow.
Thanks for all your support folks!
This forum made it possible and I'm so grateful to all of you. This forum and family here are a 'God Send' for me and I'd definitely want to be in touch with all of you for many more years to come..
I never thought I could apply all by myself and be successful in the first place.. Most of you here know me as a 'Senior' and a person who knows so much about FSW and immigrating to Canada that she started her own blog on immigration experiences to help spread the info around.. Let me me tell you I was a very different person 8 months back when i discovered his forum. All i had then was a 'Dream', a secret dream to live in Canada for the rest of my life.
This forum and friends here, gave me the courage to face it alone. I took a couple of months break from work and ran around to prepare the application. Those months were among the hardest and most sleepless for me :.. One hurdle after another non stop and I must mention my thanks to Anil and FMA for being around then to help me. For those of you wondering what I'm talking about, you might want to realize that I was among the very few people here with TOO MANY doubts and queries and so many silly fears but I did not hesitate to ask them here.. And yes, all my queries were answered right away and now my prayers are answered too..
I once again take this opportunity to thank every one of you for being around and helping people like me. This forum is all about people willing to help round the clock.
No, I'm not leaving this forum and family here I will be around until ALL of us get visas and then we will switch over to our fb group(Yet to be created). The NDVO specific fb group is up and running though
Thanks,
Indira Prabhakaran.
Sorry to hear this, and i second the below suggestion for you..ozonezone234 said:Hello everyone,
Please advice ASAP becuase i need to act very fast
After delaying my documents for months (I submitted my documents in december 2010), CIO just sent me an NER. The officer who assessed my case wrongly assessed me and did not assign me the points I was eligible for.
Just as a background, I am a medical doctor with 3 yrs of work experience (I got 19 out of 21 points for that) and a Masters degree from a well-known University in Canada. I currently live in Canada under a temporary permit. Despite giving me the maximum points I deserve for work experience, I was assigned only 5 points for education (out of a possible 25) ie equivalent to secondary or high school education - even though I have basically being in school almost all my life (I have a medical degree, masters degree recently and have being in school for more than 18 yrs of full time study and attached a photocopy of my degree certificate).
I am planning to fax them a letter including my medical school and masters transcript and draw attention to the fact that I wasnt properly assessed.
What else do I need to do apart from that? Do you think they will even act based on this information?
Your kind advice is needed please. Thanks
Thanks,9jcanada said:Just seeing this now, and I see many pages have lapsed with very few response to your post.
Firstly, sorry to read about this. It does look like another unfair NER on the part of CIO. Yes you need to act fast!. We've seen in the case of Canada Jimmy http://get2canada.wordpress.com/how-to-deal-with-unfair-ner/ and Viktoria that unfair NER can be reversed if dealt with urgently. Just a few questions: 1) Did you send notarized copies of your certificates and original transcripts for both the Medical school and the post-grad school in Canada with your initial application? If you did, fax them a letter urgently referring to the fact that these had been provided in the initial application and also include additional copies of the certificates with your fax/letter. Your letter should be addressed specifically to the Visa Review officer who signed your NER email. As an additional measure, I'll advice you send hard copy of the same documents by the fastest means available to you to the VRO.
Keep the pressure on them and God willing you'll get a positive response soonest.
