Awesome news I am so glad hearing of your good news at an end and more happy that CIO is considering correcting their mistakes from another end. Thumbs up for both u and CIO Now , may I ask you Viktoria, which contact details did u use to send ur letter or email or fax ? Did you use the fax no, at the end of the letter that has been highlighted in canadjimmy's case ? I would hereby to thank Wayne for referencing this case for those who needed it and to thank canadajimmy for sharing those important details. You guys are going to gain the benefits of helping others in a way or another

Well you go to "Profile" which is a link on bar at the top right hand side of the screen.

Then on the profile page click "Modify Profile / Forum Profile Information" on the left hand menu and you can amend all your details there

Hi Friends,
Few days back some one had informed about receiving his MR (sorry I do not remember the name). His medical form was there but not one for his wife. As per him it was expected to be delivered to his wife who is residing in India.

Has his wife received the medical form? I think I have missed the message. I want to know this because my son is in Canada and this information would throw some light on the procedure.

The idea of creating my Blog is that we can store important blocks of information such as contact addresses, telephones and faxes and also useful experiences such as medicals experience, CanadaJimmy's NER experience etc. And it saves people trawling through 2000+ pages of this thread trying to find the valuable information they need, as well as saving some of us having to repeat the same thing over and over again!

If anybody has any other useful information they feel can go in the blog please let me know.

I am thinking of adding a big page saying "NO, YOU CANNOT BORROW MONEY AND PRETEND IT IS YOURS FOR PROOF OF FUNDS". Getting SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO p*ssed off with people trying to cheat the system like that!

Cappuccino Thanks for your supporting and convincing words hopefully i will try my best to convince my relationship with my relative and my experience to go make an inquiry to the hospital my contacting them that would really convince them about me working in the hospital if doesn't workk then i will be preparing for july as u have suggested.

Viktoria,thank you so much, it was a really relief to get reply from you. Could u please let me know which means do i send the complain letter (fax, email or contact them?). If it doesn't work then i think i will have to think about reapplying as Cappuccino suggested.

I recommend you to use all possible ways of sending: mail, fax and courier required. Call the phone does not respond only to written document to the officer and the menager of the immigration service.

While waiting for an answer, you can try to pick up the documents and to reapply until 30 June. We do not know which professions will be required from 1 July 2011th.

Good luck and if I manage to go to Canada I'll be your patient.

Regrettably I am unsure what you can actually do about it. The checklists clearly say that any work experience you are claiming must be supported by a work reference letter which includes the duties. Now, if that work experience is only for points, and not for assessment for the 1 year's minimum experience in the 29 in-demand occupations - then refusing to count the work for lack of duty descriptions does seem a bit mean. But I guess from their point of view they are trying to stamp out the possibility of forged work references.

I think the only thing you can do, even though they have said new information will not be considered, is to try to get a work reference from this hospital within the next few days, and then mercy plea a fax anyway apologising for the omitted duties and ask them if they could please re-open your case.

But it is a long shot!

The alternative is to start preparing a fresh application ready for 1st July 2011 with the new rules. Since CIO are turning over applications and sending them to visa office within a month or so, you should get a pretty fast response if you re-apply in July.

Hello to all my dear friends on the forum!

On this occasion I would especially like to thank Wayne for his blog and CanadaJimmy for his experience.Тhey helped me to respond quickly.

After a reaction from me and my relatives from Canada, only one working day (yesterday was a holiday in Canada) today I got email from the CIO. Here:

Based on a further review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on June 26, 2010.

Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.

So finally the error is corrected and the May 24 I got PER.

PER issued: 24 May 2011
Country of origin: Macedonia
Country of residence: Macedonia
File num: E00
Old file number was: B05
E-Cas: decision made (from May 23, hopefully after today I got the PER will be changed)

I would like to add for all my friends who have long waited for an answer, do not lose hope, be patient and wait, if you think you've got an unfair response to react immediately.

I'm glad that at this stage for me, things have ended well, but not everything is finished, there's still a long way to visa.....

I also received a NER today dated may 24,2011 with 2points less and the reson is that they didn't accept my work experience of 1 year in a hospital as the hospital administration just have missed writing my dutiesas in the occupational description of the NOC but i am so surprised that they don't know what a doctor does when they have a licensed from the government to practice in hospital and have the contact no and a reference no of the hospital where they can do a thorough examination.
Also they have mentioned Note: Any different or new information that you submit cannot be taken into consideration

But why don't they contact the hospital contact means that have been provided in the exp.letter so clearly to identify as a forged references? Please share your views if i could plea them by contacting hopital to make sure the exp letter is for real.
