You still have not let us know why you are including only a bank certificate and what this large deposit is for?
I am not jumping to conclusions, but I should warn you that if this money is borrowed and you are trying to conceal that from CIC then that is not only against the rules, but it is illegal.
If the major amount is from genuine assets of yours (another account, sale of property) then it is a simple matter to include copies of the sales receipt/invoice or paperwork or statements from the other account.
Please do not try to hide things from CIC. IMO it would be much better to include full statements with your application.
Personally I believe CIO and visa offices should reject any applications immediately which include only bank balances and do not include statements, since it makes it too easy for people to borrow money from relatives or companies and illegally pretend to CIC that the money is theirs. Not only do they cheat the system and CIC, but they also cheat themselves in making an even harder financial struggle once they get to Canada, and also makes an unfair burden on the Canadian welfare system.
