Dear VO cairo applicants, I received my PER on march 9th, the last update for ecas on april 30th was recieved by Visa Office. starting sunday may 1st, i cant access my ecas.... I sent a mail to the embassy but didnt receive yet any reply.... what is your opinion?????????????? thanks

they answer emails within 28 working days.Just make sure that you received a confirmation email that your email is delivered to cairo vo.

Breaking News (not for Weak Heart)

Saw that thread was half heartedly moving ....... wanted to bring some flare .....
Basically, I got my passports back ..... without maple leaf ........ ;D
Have to go for a fresh passport for myself ....... as the lamination came off. VO sent all the passports back .... :-[

So finally ............... date has been extended by 45 days ....... I need patience (S T I L L) .....

I sent our applications to Uk authory for our PCCs since 19th April. I called them yesterday and they said it is ready but have to wait till thursday before they can post it as that is their 10th working day after receiving my application.

I sent same applications to Nigerian High Commission in London for Nigerian PCCs, they processed their part within one week, we went to Hertfordshire Constabulary for our fingerprints. I then sent the fingerprints & the High commission's letter to Nigerian Police on saturday last week thru DHL. They got them yesterday, issued our PCCs within 2 hours and sent them back thru DHL. I just received them few minutes ago.

Must ACRO wait till 10 working days before they can post out PCC? Very disappointing

Hi. My PCC arrived on Saturday (12 working days after I ordered it). My wife ordered hers on the same day and STILL hasn't arrived yet. She phoned them today and they said it was posted today and should be here tomorrow (15 working days after she ordered hers).

Strange that they say they now "wait" until the 10th working day, because last time we both got them within 5 working days, even though we just paid for the standard 10 day service. Just a question of how busy they are I think. Clearly with all the public holidays recently they're a bit understaffed!

Hopefully you shouldn't have to wait much longer.

Anyway I am going home for lunch tomorrow, hopefully the PCC will be here and I can finally send RPRF, PCCs + Schedule 1s to CHC London tomorrow lunchtime!

congratulations engy & Thank you for your prompt reply....i received a confirmation email . i heard somebody told me that Cairo VO used to change the file no.when they send the 2nd AOR.... my file no starts with B00???? is this true....?

Hi everyone am new on this forum. But will like to be part of your discussion thread.
I submitted my application in November 10th 2010, received my PER in February 21st. My VO is ACCRA, my status is RBVO. I hav not received any other mail aprt from the PER email since 21st of February. I am getting a bit anxious :'( :'(, pls SENIORS I need ur advice should I send a case specific inquiry to ACCRA as regards my application or should I still keep waiting. Cappucino any advice for me???
