Thanks and it happens . Today morning only I have discussed with my wife that from today onwards our forum members will start getting visa's and it's become true once I checked this forum for updates. I've been going through OP 6 Manual, looking at all the updates with regard to IELTS. When did you write your Academic IELTS? If you wrote your exam between 1 April and 26 July 2010, you might use that information in your cover letter. I am grasping at whatever I can here, no guarantees it will work, but I hope it will.

26-7-2010 Only General IELTS accepted, no more than 12 months old (changed to 24 months from 23 December 2010)
1-4-2010 Both General and Academic IELTS accepted

I hoped I would find in the Manual something concrete about return of applications, but I cannot. I understand from what I have read by others, that an incomplete application is returned with fees, however, a NER result is kept at CIO and fees are not returned. I hope seniors will give their input.

fee will b refunded bt other documents wont if any 1 get ner---such things I saw in this forum bt cant remeber where,it will take 6week to get back as they use regular mail.my application was returned after 1month 8days as it was incomplete bt it wasnt ner

Nope ??? I'm not sure about that. There are a handful of people editing the sheet lately and they might have done it for some purpose. I was not regular in the forum lately because of my hard work for Passports and PCCs :-[

I would like to make a case specific inquiry to Manila CEM regarding our PPR however I have some hesitations because my email address was not registered in my application, only my consultant's (who doesnt encourage me to send an inquiry just yet). Will it hurt my application in any way if I still send an inquiry with my email address? It has been 48 days already since the CEM received our Medical Results and I am quite anxious/frustrated/confused/worried already why I do not have the PPR yet that's why I've been wanting to ask...

Hope someone can enlighten me..

I could answer the first bit. Should you send an email enquiry they'll reply that there're not at liberty to inform you about anything as yours is not a registered address and will ask you to send in a form to revoke communication with the agent. At such a close state i wouldn't recommend it. Try to convince your agent to send it in again!

I think it was to indicate that these applications had been delayed by the VO, but I may be wrong.

Our good lucky friend went personally to VO, explained them his peculiar situation and got back his PP the very next day (of course with maple leaves) ..... ..... Isn't that an unbelievable thing. Never imagined that they will even look at your face ...... forget your case ... ..... but he did it ...... So he got his visa out of turn, but yes, it was a genuine case ...... and I am very happy for him that they listened to him and gave a correct decision ....

we was in india last month for almost a month and half b'cos of my MIl's illhealth followed by her demise.
we can't take any more Al.
