It will take at least 14-16 weeks to get FBI check report. when did your application reach to them, I got it in 3 months so at least 12 weeks.

sorry for the time taken to write my thread regarding my Visa status after my e-cas showing Decision Made.

With grace of god and your warm wishes, Finally yesterday on 5th may (5/5/2011) I got my Passport with Visa stamped on it.

THanks. It reached FBI May 4th. And NDVO's last date is June 10th. I think I am going to be in problems.

SHould I write to NDVO requesting extension of the last date?

Someone on this forum got it in 20 days as he wrote a statement about the deadline for CHC.

Dear coolbreeze,

You should be able to write an explainatory letter to ND VO stating that they have given you x amount of months for submitting PCC and that it is going to take more than that for obtaining FBI clearance informing them clearly that it takes around 12 to 16 weeks to get it done from their end. You have to do that as soon as possible and inform them that you are going to send it whenever it comes to your place.

Have the coolest breath now and soon we are going to see you done with all the process
