Dear All
I have dispatched my docs to ND VO today
completed medicals on 19th april and send RPRF, Passport and PCC to ND VO today
but when you update my case in the spread sheet please put a note that i have not completed X-ray due to my pregnancy and i am waiting for the next response from the VO
So it is going to be a long wait till Oct-Nov any way i am getting ready for that

I really think 7 months is too far gone for you to worry. If it was anytime in the first trimester, I would encourage your hesitation.
But above all, rely onthe expert opinions you are getting. You can'tgo wrong that way

Thanks for your encouragement. I actually went to another hospital this afternoon. I was lucky to see one of their senior radiologists. He said that 7 months pregnancy is safe for Chest Xray saying that chect Xray usually has about the lowest dose of radiation. According to him, some premature babies in their hospitals do receive Xray.
I am just trying to be cautious. I would have loved to wait for the baby to be delivered in 2 months time but obtaining a passport from my country's embassy in London takes upto three months. With that in mind, we may have to wait till about Nov/Dec to do the baby's medical.

Besides, someone said that VO will not process our case even if she takes the Xray now because of the pregnancy. Is that true?

Yes, my address also reappeared today. Last time when it happened like that, my status changed into "In process". Hope this is a sign that they are trying to work. Just like stretching and warming-up before sending us Medical.

I send request to Buffalo Vo 3 times to change address. And they are still displaying the same old address. Luckily, my mail will come to my new address for another one year. Otherwise I would be screwed.

Dear friends, i have this to share:

I was shocked yesterday when i received the 2nd AOR dated 9 March 2011

This means it took one and a half months to be delivered from one point to another within Cairo?????
!!!!!!

-the letter itself is dated 9/3/2011
-it was received at the main post office 15/3/2011
-then was received by the post office of my region 23/4/2011
-and finally reached my house yesterday 27/ 4/2011

I could not believe this hustle.!!!!!

What concerns me is that with the letter, they attached labels with new file number and barcode and i was advised to use these labels for any documents to be sent to the VO.
I'm so worried because i have already sent the requested documents on 18/4/2011 without sticking a label
because the letter and labels were delivered to me only yesterday!!! ??? ??? ???

I have sent them an email and also dropped them a letter in their mail box describing the situation but i wonder if they will ever reply?? ??? ??? ???

They said in the letter that this new file number for more efficient processing of the file but still i have to keep my old file number!!!

I also have recieved those labels with my 2nd AOR (the letter is dated 22nd March & I recieved it on the 31st of March).

I recieved the MR + RPRF by DHL courier on 2nd of April.

But let me tell you one thing, they stated in the AOR "to help us work more efficiently" about the lables... so LET THEM DO SOME WORK ))
It is enough that you sent them an email and a letter (with labels), so just wait for the MR+RPRF ISA it will come very soon.
