Headline: WE JUST GOT OUR MEDICAL REQUESTS!!

Hi all - am very pleased to announce that we got our medical requests today! I popped home at lunch time to check the post, and sure enough the little brown envelope was waiting for us!

In addition for medicals for both of us they are asking for:
- Right of permanent resident fee
- Updated Schedule 1 forms for both of us
- Updated police certificates for both of us

Regarding the PCCs, I assume since ours run out on 17th July 2011 they feel it's cutting it a bit close to the wire, hence why they want fresh ones.

Really puzzled as to why they are asking for new Schedule 1s. The only change is that my company has been taken over and has a new name, but my job and duties haven't changed and we informed them of it.

On the correspondence they sent they gave no indication why they wanted new forms.

Ah well, no biggy Just very glad to get the medical requests! We're booked in for 1.30pm next Tuesday for medicals. Just thought I'd let you know asap to give hope to the scores of London applicants waiting - they ARE working!!

Lol yeah. But thing is if your application is bit complicated/Different, they are going to call you. I recently went for B1 Visa interview and saw Canadian embassy on the way to US embassy. Never thought i will be going there with in month again. Oh and that B1 interview was successful so i am very optimistic and looking forward to Canadian one.

Hmm yeah but that's like twice the price and would mean an extra £70 for the 2 of us? Not sure there's much point in getting it that fast whey CHC probably have set a 60 day+ brought forward date, so even if they got meds and all the docs by the end of next week we still wouldn't see PPR until maybe mid to end of June?

The next day delivery will only cost you an added £7; but I suppose you will just safe a couple of days and then its not worth the added cost.

Incidentally does the accompanying letter with details of the PPRF provide a different time-line? Mine does. It states that the amount is to be remitted within 30 days, even though the main letter which also mentions the PPRF states 60 days.

Hi all,

As of today ECAS is showing our mailadress.
The only thing is.....the adress isn't right!
I've read that PER usually is coming by e-mail, but what if for some unknown reason CIO has decided to send it by normal mail?
ECAS is showing that a letter was send on 15th of March, but we haven't received anything yet!
So, could it be that we haven't got PER yet because of the wrong mailadress??????

I would like to know how to call CIO, and not customer service if possible, to find out what went wrong....
Can someone tell me another phonenumber?

Maybe we were just lucky last time. We sent the on a Monday and they came through the post the following Monday. But should be no more than 14 days tops, and they've given us 60 days.
