The London office is like a ghost town..
I did read a report recently that officials in CHC London had put immigration processing on hold because they were busy checking out some UK anomalies:
1) The red team are working on:
Who or what is Big Ben? A name that has been used as a cosigner on many occasions.
They are still confused that Big Ben is not a clock. (It's not, Big Ben the name of the thirteen ton bell, in the tower - FWIW the tower is St. Stephen's Tower).
2) The white team are looking at:
The complex issue of why there are no words in the English language that rhyme with month, orange, silver or purple.
When CHC London finally get around to immigration processing at some point in the future, spare a thought for Winston Churchill who in the latter part of his life applied for a TRV to visit Canada.
Because he was born in a ladies' room during a dance, there was no official documentation of his birth - Last reports are, his e-CAS still shows "In Process", but his address only appears intermittently.
Winston Churchill's great grandson wants answers, so he wrote to the queen to intervene on his behalf.
The minister responsible for immigration, when questioned, said " Yes, I know Winston Churchill is dead, but we have to follow the process as laid out in the manuals; Just don't try and confuse the issues by giving me the facts".
