CONGRATULATIONS Wayne, keep the good work
I want your opinion :
on Application form we answer : intended location in Canada
Can we change that like if i choose in the application : Toronto - Ontario , Is it compulsory to land and issue the papers there or we can change the landing and destination ?
Thanks
Dear architect_100

It's not a big issue .... Not compulsory at all. After you get Visa you can land anywhere in Canada (I think except Quebec), you can change the landing and destination...

Cheers, Anil

Hi - yes I am a software developer. I work for a company which writes core solutions for the broadcasting industry. Effectively playout/automation and content management media software running on a standard PC server which does the same job as a lot of expensive broadcasting hardware.

Wayne.

Dear Wayne,

Can you please explain the descrepancy between the NOC under which you apply /3131 Pharmacists/ and your actual occupation as a software developer? Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the past.

Best regards

We received your application for permanent residence on October , 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 9, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

hasib can u elaborate it too that what is lurked behind these words?

RBVO : Received by VO

it is the PER sent to you by Email. Now, if you hadn't mention your email address on application form then CIO would send you the PER via snail mail, so the last advice from their side is not applicable for those who provided their email address to CIO.

Dear All,

I sent my police clearance certificates to the London VO and the same reached today. As per the tracker, the documents are received by the guard/security station and the name of the person signed the package is AJAZ. Does anyone has an experience of sending documents to the London VO? Can he/she tell me whether the documents are received by the guard/same person AJAZ? Kindly reply!

Thanks in advance

A software developer can apply under 3131 if his wife is a pharmacist & also the principal applicant. ;D
sounds complicated? ;)

Dear OBIE

Seems you are not aware of the step by step stages of PR visa processing. PER (Positive Eligibility Review / 1st AOR) is a term derived in this thread. It is sent by CIO after one clears the Eligibility Review. Then an applicant will get the AOR (2nd one) from their respective Visa Offices. NOW, it depends on the Visa Office, how they intent to send this AOR!! Either through email or snail mail.... ....... So 'Gdragon' got the 2nd AOR from Manila

You can't find your row because........ it is not there .. ;).. Will add it now.

Cheers,Anil

Hey Everyone (ND Applicants)

I just got to know that when u take a draft for RPRF

1. The beneficiary should be "Receiver General for Canada" if it is in CAD
2. The beneficiary should be "Canadian High Commission" if it is in INR

Both payable at New Delhi.....

Pls keep this in mind....

Thanks,

Shareen

Missed one Important thing....I have taken a DD in favour of "Canadian High Commission" and payable at New Delhi in Indian rupees.

As Shareen had said earlier if we take the DD in Canadian dollars we have to take in favour of "Reciever General Canada", if we mix up both our DD will be rejected and please make sure the DD amount is exact as said in the RPRF request letter (DD amount more or less than the RPRF request amount will be rejected)

Regards
Bindu
