Well if linkrink's change of status is anything to judge by we can hopefully expect 2nd AORs to start from London soon. The theory is that post-June-26 will be getting at least semi-priority, since the decision-makers at CIC need to prove to their bosses that the "new" system is faster and better than the old one.Advance123 said:Either the number of applications submitted to CIO has dropped or they are just more efficient. Whichever way, it is good to see the waiting period for AOR drop to below 80 days. I believe if they can drop it to 60 days the whole process shouldn't take more than 8 months. Unfortunately, we are the guinea pigs and we can't enjoy the benefits. Nevertheless, I don't believe the process will take more than 6 months after receipt at VO except London and Buffallo VOs who seem to have to much on their plates. Lets just hope that we will be waking up to a new year somewhere in Canada.
However, I haven't seen any evidence of this at London - but other offices like Manila and New Delhi, could be. Difficult to directly assess with the two processes being so different.
And yes 80 days for a PER is getting faster We've ALREADY been waiting 84 days since PER and not a sign of a 2nd AOR yet.
