I mailed mine on January 14th and they charged my credit card on February 11th...I am guessing it will take few more weeks for me to get it. I think it depends on how many applications they have, but it seems like they are not too busy

Seems your representative have not been transparent with u.....ur process cud not have started before ur language test......so chk with him as to when he sent ur application and more importantly when it was received by CIO.......it its in October that ur application reached CIO then there is no reason why u shud b so concerned.........

I'm confused !! We started the procesus in July and no PER !! Our representive requested us two times : in August to give new photos and in September to give genuine language tests.
In December we wrote to Sydney they said : "application recieved" , In 5th of this month we wrote another time they said "your submission is being reviewed , you will be contacted in due course". until now they didn't give us any file number ! :'(

It is unlikely that your application made the cap since yours was received by CIO on 18th NOV.
But if your bank confirms that your DD had been encashed then there is one possibility:
"Some 1122 NOC applicants got their applications returned due to incompleteness so there is a chance that CIO accepted yours in their place
Keep your faith to the end"

Depends if it's still "In Process" or "In Process" to "Received By Visa Office" and back to "In Process" again? "In Process" was the default when we were alll added to ECAS but they have been slowly updating everyone's status. So if yours is genuinely "In Process" you could be getting 2nd AOR + medicals soon!

London is a very busy visa office and has to deal with several countries' applications, I doubt they are particularly "on the ball"

We have created a file with the application number pasted above. Please note that this file number is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Case Processing Center in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this new application number in any future correspondance.

Before your application can be placed in processing, a determination wil be made as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the decisions as well as a refund.

Yes I thought ! because the last time I contacted Sydney they said :
Your submission is being reviewed by our office. You will be contacted in due course.
I hope it will be positive !! may be they recieved the application in November !

You seem to be a pre june applicant. You will get PER(positive eligibility review) later as your application is at the eligibility review stage at the VO which we all have gone through at CIO since the rules have changed. So theres no use comparing our dates to yours.
