Hi everyone,

i have a question for you.....me and my wife had some issues due to this long distance and things got complicated and she withdraw the immigration when visa was about to be issued. previously in April 2013 she also withdraw the application but with the help from Local MP it was reinstated and i was called for an interview. As stated above due to miss understanding she decided not to be in this marriage and she withdraw the application once again. Now we have cleared up the things and we are wondering if we can not somehow reinstate the application, can we submit a FRESH APPLICATION PACKAGE now without any deal or does she has to wait for a certain time period before she can submit a fresh application?

on the ECAS there are no additional notes and the status only says "withdrawn" in both categories "Sponsorship Application Status" and "Permanent Residence Application Status" but no notes has been entered and the last note under "Permanent Residence Application Status" is "My interview is July 24, 2013 and last note under "Sponsorship Application Status" is "We received a letter from you on January 9, 2014 requesting that we withdraw your application."

A guidance in this regard will be highly appreciated. Looking forward for your replies. if you need further information i will be more then happy to provide additional information

Thanks

I seriously doubt they will reinstate your application again. It sounds like you and your wife might try some counseling before continuing on in this relationship. To have it withdrawn not once, but twice due to "misunderstanding" sounds like you have some deeper issues here.

Maybe you should look to see if you can immigrate to Canada via any other means other than a spousal sponsorship, that way, she can't cancel it again when you guy have another 'misunderstanding'.

You can submit a new application again, nothing will change, except for the fact that your application will likely face a bit of scrutiny because the VO will notice the 2 previous withdrawals.

Yes can submit new app anytime. Will need to address in this new app, some detailed reasons as to why previous apps were withdrawn. If counselling was done since then, I would mention that as well.

Also I would prepare for an interview being required.

Guys ..u can filed new application any time but i strongly advise u before applied again better u guys resolved ur all issue..For ur info. immigration matter always quite Sensitive and i strongly advise u don't create red flag in ur PR application ..withdraw application and reapplied once again by the same sponsor could be consider as a RED FLAG also ...its also can cause u delay in process ur application and a quite tough interview by Visa IO..wishing u good luck
