application updated

hello
today i accidentally opened my account and it says application updated but i checked nothing changed...after 2 min it back to submitted...whats that mean?

Means there was an update made to your file by the Case Analyst or approving Visa Officer.Could mean anything from request for additional documents(travel history,Schedule A,CV) to passing eligibilty/criminality/security and also possibly final approval.If your file was approved or you received a request for additional documents, can take a couple of hours or some days for the message to show up in your inbox after it changes back to submitted when you view your account.If an update was made to criminality/eligibilty/security you will be unable to view the change in your account and will have to call an IRCC agent.
