yes it is required for indian students for study permit under SDS , but upfront medical exam are not being conducted due to instruction of ircc .It states who needs to have a medical on the SDS site.

Thanks for quick reply . Can I apply with LOE as it is situations are not in control of applicant . Can they reject SDS application or can they process as a normal application ?Then apply non SDS (if eligible) as your file will not be processed without a medical.

I was in the same situation as you where all of my documents are as per SDS requirements except for medical. I know lot of people who did as u are thinking i.e. say yes and enter SDS and later gv the immigration thumbs up by giving LOE. I personally felt that this is slightly misleading, as if IRCC has put a pause on up front medical which means they are aware of it and no need of attaching a LOE. I have applied in Non SDS fingers crossed and all the best to you for your application.

What u have done now ? Waiting for upfront medical or not ?
Can I apply study permit under SDS without medical with LOE? Now upfront medical exams has been stopped in whole india . Have anyone applied in this manner ?
