Application under process and deferring a admission?

I have applied for study permit @ VFS New Delhi on 2nd Dec 2016 and nothing till date. The program has already started and My supervisor told me to defer the program to next start date which is Fall 2017, September Intake. I am waiting for the deferral letter from the university. What should I do now? Do I wait for the outcome of current application? or Submit the deferral letter as soon as i get it? or otherwise Do I have to redo the whole application again?

same problem here bro, I applied on 7 December .. and still waiting and college deferred to May intake .. don't understand what to do .. my consultant recommend me to wait for response from embassy and then see what to do ..

I was thinking of submitting an deferral admission letter as soon as I get. Or May be I should also do the same.
